            Just to take the thread off on another tangent, does it not make more sense to check who is giving the best deals after the majority of suppliers have done a price rise?
Seems to me there's no point in changing to a cheaper supplier only to find their tariffs go up a few weeks after you have done the deed, then find you would have been better off sticking with the one you already had.0 - 
            Dunloadin, I would agree with you but the right solution to the problem is for Ofgem to actually get off their a**e and make the utilities improve their switching process. It should be as easy to switch energy suppliers as it is to switch telephone providers or ISPs.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

what worries me is the zero greedy energy companies will add on to that 8%(80%)Though this comes at a cost to families. The Department of Energy and Climate Change says that between 2015 and 2020, household energy bills will rise by a typical £92, or 8%, a year.0
