Might wait to pre-order then. I was put off Dell by a computer savvy workmate (think it might have been due to compatibility/upgrade issues) - I know, abit lame of me but I did trust his opinion.
I'm not sure where I'll be getting the pc from yet. I was hoping to go down the route of getting one built locally but one pc guy said it would be cheaper for me to go to PC World - eek! - than he could do one for.
It might be cheaper, but it would be the worst choice imaginable. Don't take my word for it, read the opinions of many others on MSE whose tales of woe invariably commence with the chilling phrase 'I bought this PC at PCW...'No free lunch, and no free laptop
