I've had a look into that Lilash, its over £80 !! And thats even on ebay.
It can also have very bad side effects to the eyes, Its ment to contain some harmful ingredients:

Its ment to last 5 months but still thats £160 a year on eye lashes.

Think i'll stick to Cargo at only £19, my lashes are fuller with cargo plus i know at the end of the day its just a mascara its not going to damage my eyes.

yes it is dear plus with dodgy chemicals.

mind u, do u think the crgo 1 has some not so great stuff in it too.i think it is good and may buy it again. would prefer it in dark brown
  • I dont think, Ive not heared that it has and i'm sure it would have been reported like the Lilash one. Plus Cargo is a well estabished brand that does many products sold is Sephora, Boots, QVC etc.

  • Have been using Lash Activator for 2 weeks and no real difference - not a bad natural looking mascara - no clumps - will persevere and use up but wouldn't buy again at £19 based on results so far. Anyone used the Folligen as recommended on the anti-ageing site above?

I've tried it and its ok but really nothing special. It's nice on its own instead of mascara but it doesn't give you that much more boost even with a lengthening mascara.

When it runs out i'll just go back to Clinque lash primer which is only £12. I don't mind paying £19 for something i just wish it worked better.
  • Hi, i have tried it once. however it is a mascara and smugged instantly. it is really wet and did not dry. maybe if you wear it to bed, (when you are on your own) and wash it off in the morning it may work. but dont wear it when you are going out.
  • I have wanted to try this for ages & bought a set of 4 'try me' sized items yesterday in Boots for ½ price :-) There were 3 different sets in the offer & the one I chose had the eyelash primer & mascara as well as the cheek (blush) activator & skin primer. I think it was £10.50-ish with the offer so am pleased to be able to try 4 products for this price! :-)
  • I have found the sets on Boots.com - 2 are on offer here but in-store the 'Cargo 6 in the Bag!' by Mimi Spencer was also included in the ½ price offer

The cheek activator is magic! How does a white cream transform into a pink flush?! :-)
  • :)I have been using Cargo since the beginning when I bought 3 for 2 online at Boots.com. Repeated order so I am still using them.
I never do what the beauty folk advise, "Throw away after 3 months." No, I use until there's not a smidgen left, to justify the cost.
At first I did see a difference in lash length, but this has levelled out.
I am a harsh critic I know and expect maybe too much, so, bottom line, it is a gentle product, easily applied, brush never hurts when you poke yourself in the eye accidentaly. I have never found it to flake or smudge and when I am going out I wear a black volumising mascara on top and I look like I have really nice eyelashes, which in reality you wouldn't notice without the product.
I will buy again but only when last tube totally dried out.
Another tip: if I think I can get another squeeze out of it, I place it upright in a cup of boiling water and it yields another few applications.
For all of you who have sensitive eyes out there, I do too and I'm ok with all of this.
All the best in your searches. Liz.
