Hi,
Just looking for some advice if possible please, my brother has just returned from the music festival in Serbia and on the last day he withdrew cash from an ATM. Unfortunately a slip of the finger meant he withdrew £200 instead of £20.
He brought the remaining amount home which totals around £165 but now he's struggling to find anywhere to change it back to sterling. Does anyone know of where it can be done or can someone offer any advice?
Many thanks

Sorry, You"re probably not going to want to hear this but I think he might have problems exchanging it. I brought home some Albanian Lev last year and haven"t been able to change them anywhere despite trying desperately to do so. Places like the Post Office etc were no help at all as were all the other organisations who you"d normally contact to exchange currency. His best bet might be to try use an internet based company but even then they might charge an exorbitant rate for exchanging unfortunately because in their eyes its probably not a great deal of money. ( I realise it probably is to you and your brother) Is he likely to go back to Serbia at any time in the future and could he perhaps not save the currency for a possible future trip??loobylou2.Proud to be dealing with my debts and aiming to sort out the mess in 2013!!!!:eek:0

Thanks for that, it's what I was expecting to be honest.
He has tried his bank and they dont do it because as you say, it's not a large amount.
I suppose there's always next year for the next festival!0
