Thomas Cook Visa HELP !!

HELP !!

My husband made a cash transfer from our online Natwest account before our hols and put in the wrong account number. It's gone to some unknown Thomas Cook Visa account and we want to get it back pronto.

Natwest say they can't help because it was our error not theirs - and we need to contact Thomas Cook Visa directly.

But I can't find their telephone numbers anywhere. Can anyone help please ??

  • Sam, thanks so much.

I did google "Thomas Cook visa" and all I got was loads of websites giving comparisons of all the different credit cards. (Don't know what I did wrong in my search).

Thanks again - they were very helpful. Fingers crossed.

I have just checked for you and it does not appear to have turned up in my account. Hope this helps.

Nothing on your statements, especially on the back? Any paperwork you have?

Sorry to state the obvious but when you're panicking....

Whew! That's one clear. Only about 20,000 to go ....

It was a transfer from a Natwest account to TC, and I'm not a Thomas Cook Visa customer, so don't have any paperwork from them. (Do have a reference number on our Natwest statement to use to find the payment though - which I've given them).

Did phone the number that Sam gave and they seemed very helpful, so hopefully I'll get it back !!

A hard lesson about on-line banking though!

    Apologies. Misread your OP.

I always try and make the first payment to a new payee for £1 only to test the conduit, and then save the details for future use when making a payment in 'anger'.

Good idea. Will remember that one for the future!
