Trying For a Baby III

CB Digi are still half price on Tesco.com - I keep trying to tell myself that it would not be MSE to go buy one now but I've never tried one (used to scoff & say why does anyone need a test that says "pregnant" what's wrong with 2 lines
) and now I feel like I'm missing out  Plus I would be interested to know what the conception indicator would say
Someone tell me it's a good idea please
Madmac - I'm so sorry to hear your OH is in hospital and you are on your ownI hope he starts to feel better & is back home soon. Depression is very hard on everyone involved.
Nickynoo - Wow that sounds like gooood news!!!! I await your BFP update so we can celebrate.
Kenco - Sorry I didn't get back on yesterday to comment as we had to take DD to hospital as the Tamiflu was making her more poorly. Thrilled to see your scan piccies. How beautiful! I'm so happy for you! I can't believe there's twins in there!!!! Did make me think 'oh my' what if we were expecting twins - with DD my mum promised to quit work if it was twins as we would have been stuck financially - now we are in a better position & would be ok financially but live in a 2 bedroom house

Good morning all, hope you are enjoying this weekend more than I am!
Nickynoo, that is just the sort of news I could have done without this morning! :DOnly kidding, here's hoping it turns into a BFP in the next few days - maybe the day after AF is due would be best hun, x
So, I'm reading between the lines that confuzzled and greenr might be next... making this a hugely bumper month!
I'll try to join that club in August, but won't hold my breath. CD16 here so a way to go before I start thinking of trying next cycle.
Hugs to all in need this morning (and I'm including me in this!) :grouphug::grouphug:0 -
Hi Katy, welcome! Are you officially trying to conceive now or have you been for a little while? Hopefully you'll be on and off this board before you know it as there certainly seems to be something going around! x
Here's the link you wanted to include for Smartie but couldn't:
http://direct.gov.uk/pandemicflu
Smartie - there is a Tamiflu collection point in Bideford - hopefully that is near you, just in case you end up needing it! Is your temp high?
And just for you Katy here's a handy abbreviations page to bookmark!

madmac, hope next week is better for you...
what does 'TLP' mean - sorry, couldn't find it on that link i normally refer too..
I'm not holding my breath this month, it's only our 2nd month of ttc and half the time i wonder whether i'm talking myself into believing i have symptoms - mind over matter and all that0 -
Thanks Katy and Madmac:)
The thing is I don't know if I HAVE got a high tempI feel very hot but all I've got is a strip thermometer (from when DS was little) and it doesn't seem to be working.
Everywhere around here has run out of thermometers.
Surely if I had swine flu I wouldn't be able to make a cake like I've just done???(I'm VERY hot now!!)
What worries me is if I do get Tamiflu now but don't actually have flu - I won't be able to get it again if I do definitly get it! If you know what I mean:o
It doesn't help that DH isn't taking it very serioslyBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Thanks for that - couple of ??s answered there (Couldn't figure BD for the life of me!!!)
Yes, TTC after MC in March which was quite a harrowing experience so had to remove myself from "all things baby" related whilst I felt ready again. Nice to know there are others out there in similar boats, and that it's natural to want to test far too early!!!
Trying to keep things low key for DH as don't want him to think I am obsessed or anything... saw a bloke carrying a baby on his chest yesterday in a harness-thing and asked him if he would do that when our time comes. He said he would and I asked if he'd cope with women going "aah" about him and not the baby!! He laughed and said he'd have to try it out with the cat first to see if it's comfy  so I guess he's OK with it really but I don't like to push things too much.

TLP - Tiny Little Positive - Smaller & less distinct than a BFP (still throws doubt into the mind of mere mortals) Not sure but think we coined that phrase ourselves here on the TTC thread.
TWLP - Teensy Weensy Little Positive - Even smaller & less distinct than a TLP (when an impatient, crazy woman tests ridiculously early) I coined that phrase - feel free to steal itBeautiful DD born Jan 2007

That's the good thing about being able to chat about TTC on here - it stops us form driving our OHs mad!!
Smartie, I've got a spare mercury thermometer (not child safe, but adult safe) so if you want me to pop it in the post tomorrow just PM me. I wouldn't think cake making is particularly good with swine flu, so fingers crossed it is just something else that you'll be over in a few days, x
Greenr - TLP= tiny little positive!
Edit: Oops, Nikabella beat me to it! Actually, when I first read TLP on here many moons ago I thought it was tiny little penis!0 -
Has anyone used Agnus Castis & Evening primrose oil to TTC?
How much should you take & when should you take it?
I know we shouldn't advise but I've googled them both & can't find much info.0
