Trying For a Baby III

AF arrived yesterday, left me totally devastated as I really felt that I was going to get my BFP.
I just feel that my body is failing me, every month everything builds up towards ov'ing & everything seems to revolve around bd'ing at the right time, then for the next two weeks every tiniest symptom seems to mean everything pointing to a BFP.
I just don't know how much longer I can carry on like this, sooner or later I am going to have to make the decision to give up on TTC.0 -
Morning alllllll
Hope you're all feeling good...or at least okay and on the way. :heart2:
Hugs to those that have had BFN or pesky AF is back in town. We will get there ladies...dig deep.
Skintscotslass: I take folic acid and a mulit-vit. I think your pregna-care thingys from Boots are very similar. GD with ttc. :T
Twinkle: Sorry you're not very well. Take this time to chill and pamper yourself...there are a lot of bugs going around at the moment. Try and think on the bright side, your immune system will get on top of it and kick its a$$. x x
I have to blast the house tidy today...but I will do it with such vigour to use up lots of calories. It is weigh in on Thursday. I have my fingers crossed for a two pound loss this week. I have been quite an :Ain the food and exercise stakes this week.
I took my thirteen month old nephew out for the day yesterday. It is the first time I have had him for such a long time and as well as it been lovely to be with him, it gave me a refresher of what it is like being "tied" to another human for a full day.
The good points: big smiles and cuddles (priceless), old ladies cooing at the pushchair in the street, reading books/playing with toys/playing peek-a-boo, watching his face as he tastes new flavours, shopping for a toy and a new outfit for him, a pushchair walk in the sunshine with little one pointing and laughing at all the cars and dogs that passed.
The not so good points: having to wait until he fell asleep so I could go for a number two, having to eat my dinner cold as he was feeding first, picking up rice, peas and chicken from the floor, the table...out of my hair and not been able to watch Trisha in peace.:rotfl:
Already having a child (of 18) it made me ask myself...is ttc what I really want as I approach the age of 40. And for all the things that are mildy inconvenient and earth shatteringly tiring...it is so worth it. :grinheart
Well Stardrops and the hoover are calling me. I hope you all have a scrummy, yummy day.
Lots of love Bam x x:whistle: Whistle while you work...0 -
p.s. notmyusual - get a test and pee on that stick. Until you know where you stand you won't be able to sort out how you feel. When you know the results you can go from there.

Some are scared to test in fear of a bfn  so it's just something we use to see who is due to test and when. Then if / when AF arrives, it all starts again!
notttmyusualname wrote: »me n oh havent exactly been trying its more a case of not being careful and then agreeing it wouldnt be the worst thing to happen - i know im stupid etc etc
im now a couple of days lateand honestly dont know whether to go buy a test or not really - ive googled some symptoms and well i could be based on the stuff i found
we both want children but now im faced with the possibility of it im not even sure what im feeling. not even sure if i should post in here as i know everyone in here wants a bfp so badly (am a secret reader of the forum)
i guess i just want someone to tell me to get my butt into gear buy a test pee on a stick and then return....
oh yeah i had a question - spotting??? how much is classed as spotting??
But deffo buy a test and put your mind at rest(stress can stop AF arriving too), then whatever the result, please think seriously about if you want kids or not and talk to your OH about it. It is a scary prospect but if you want kids then you'll see past the scariness and how much joy they can bring!!!
Anyway, again BUY A TEST and I hope you get the result you want.
Morning all, looks like AF is going already:j So should be able to start bding from tomorrow:j Spoke to DH about ttc again last night and it turns out this malarky is affecting him as much as it is me, only diff is he keeps schtum where I'll wuitehappily moan away:rolleyes: He's also worried that he's firing blanks(coz his bro is, I don't get the logic either!)so now my next mission is to get him to go/talk to his docs about it..not gonn abe easy but it'll either prove him wrong and put his mind at rest or prove him rgiht and wecan crack on and do something about it! Either way I think it's a step in the right direction:)
Hope alls well with everyone and stickybabydust to everyone who wants it:D

:rotfl: at confuzzled! So true! Though if we're not successful soonish, I'll be taking OH to the gp with me and he'll just have to get over it!
Anywho, CD22 here (8DPO) boobs killing like billy-o still. Very annoyed as I've got a busy and active day at work and can't be seen holding my boobs still going down the stairs like 14yr old...what will people say?!
Had a horrific day yesterday managed to delete an important folder from one of our work computers and don't know how. Here is the computer in question:
Yes, an Acorn. From 1994. No wonder I'm a bit lost with it, I was just starting secondary school when that was released and installed here *sigh*
Boss says I can get a new system thoughThink me pointing out how old it was relative to my education helped somewhat. I swear he still thinks it 1998 sometimes...
stickybabydust ladies! xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
