Hello everyone ....feeling guilty for not being too chatty laletly, but have managed to catch up on end of last thread and into this one. Sending hugs to all who need them.

Looks like we'll be having a forced break from TTC this month as DH went to collect his test from path lab yesterday and the first day they can take it back is 27th - right in the middle of my forecasted OV time and of course he can't weaken his test by giving me any of his swimmers for 3 days before. Oh well it will be worth it when we get the results. My blood test is due about same time. Doctor was more concerned than we were which was a bummer as we haven't been actively preventing for 7 years. We have not got really high sex drives though IYGWIM, but after 7 months TTC there may be a problem.

After last months fiasco ....... spotting pink and brown from CD6 and a 3 day very light AF right on cue, perhaps a break from the stress will be good
    2009 total raised £2373.60:j
the new garden beat me in 2010 just £1306.66:o
    2011 - 365 £ a day.
Life Changing October 2011 - DF & £10000 saved - twins came - no plans
2013 - twins now 14 mths old - lets get sorted!

Is it strange that I am sat at home after work literally waiting to pounce on oh the second he comes in...All because I'm ovulating lol. He hasn't a clue that I'm calculating ov dates etc as to him it's as simple as he does the deed and I'm pg lol...he must think I'm insatiable

Does anyone else have a oh that isn't actively involved in the rest of the ttc process? X

((hugs)) At least you've got someone looking into the issue (excuse the bad pun!:p) So bd is banned from 3 days before? Why not give it a shot on the 1 or 2 prior days? Sperm can hang around for up to 6 days and a friend of mine bd'd 5 days before ov - they planned to ttc but wanted to wait a while but they didn't have any condoms and thought it would be fine and she's 21wks this week. Just a thought

leopardlady - glad your pma is on its way back. Some of the non-sciencey signs are just as good as ov sticks I think. I trust my cervix position and CM more than a stick.

((hugs)) moneyangel hope you get some answers soon and that your pain has gone.

kmckee - you made me chuckle about your OH! Though I do know what you mean about the ttc getting a bit much. Sometimes we all just need to let off the pent up pressure and it does help your relationship. I think OH and I think the same but when we're stressed we don't communicate and then *pow* have a big "discussion" then we realise what muppets we're being and start to properly talk.
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

My DH isn't 'actively' involved, I just get him at the right time;) Although I think I've been busted as he refused to do the deed the other night and got all huffy coz I was just using him:rolleyes: Thought it was just us girls who felt like that:rotfl::rotfl:
I tried to tell him about EWCM and everything else when we first started ttc but he got all grossed out and says 'it takes away the magic sweetheart'...what a creep eh?;):rotfl:So now I just grab him when I need him and the rest of the time it's just for fun:D One of the reasons I don't use OV sticks yet is coz I have no-one at home to share the stresses with so figure it's best not to go down that route! I know I can get pg(a few long stories in there:rolleyes:) so thats good enough for me:D:D

Confuzzled- my oh is like that, he just thinks the reality is a bit gory. I wouldn't be supeised if he thought the baby comes out dressed nicely lyig in a Moses basket !!

I'm only on month one ttc but have wanted to try for 3 years so now he has finally agreed I feel like I need to use ov sticks etc in case missing the window... I'm prob being "baby crazy" as my friend calls it. I could never tell her I'm ttc...this board is a lifesaver x

Hehe I've been making DH watch medical shows, especially those with bubbas, as when we do get pg he want to be down the business end:eek: when it's born and I don't want the poor midwives having to step over him when he passes out:rotfl: :rotfl:
He thought that when they came out they'd be pretty clean, "coz they're squeezed out you know and that should clean them off a bit":rotfl::rotfl: When he found out this wasn't the case he was less than impressed!:D
And don't worry about being 'baby crazy' I was at the beginning, I was going mental and now I (kinda)know whats goin on with my body I can read the signs so panic a lot less and when its ready to happen it'll happen:D
Although saying that I reckon we'll hit the jackpot this month coz Dhs hours are being reduced at work and we don't know how much money we'll have coming in so if i got a bfp now it wouldn't be brilliant timing:rolleyes::rolleyes:

My OH is well on board with everything, shows a real interest and always wants to help, just isn't always able to :rotfl:

_clarity, I quite agree. I love the fact that this board (and the 12+mth one) is just full of people who support you like a big wave, we all go with the flow! So are happy to share joys, and commiserate when bad news come along. As we all have the same aims, you never feel out of place. You would never find such consensus in real life!

I know, we can thank the Internet for allowing us to find others who feel exactly the same. I would feel even more isolated if I didn't read through these posts.

And oh's do make me laugh, especially as they go throughmost of their life not really knowing about the whole baby process...my little brother (21) said to me the other day "well if a baby is crying it's because it doesn't think your jokes are funny" needless to say he is girlfriend and childless lol x
