Trying For a Baby III

Just wanted to put my 2ps worth in about the smear tests.... after I had DD my midwife told me I needed to have a smear, because I'd given birth, cervix changes etc. Booked the appointment and the nurse said (at app) "so what can I do for you. Said I was booked in for smear, she said no we don't do them for under 25s. I pressed it further but she refused  I ended up just having to shuffle out the door  I cannot believe it's not 18 and over *shakes head*.
I haven't caught up properly with todays posts yet, going to have dinner then get to it......if stargate doesn't tempt me before0 -
Thanks scotsgirl. Haven't had any spotting for a couple of hours now so really don't know what to think
I hope you have a great holiday and AF isn't too bad for you.
Smears... I put mine off for years:o but my nurse convinced me to have it done. From the age of 17/18 I've been asked in for them... I'm sure back then it used to be from when you've been sexually active? My friend has had pre cancerous cells removed so thank goodness she went for her smear.
I shall be phoning docs tomorrow morning and booking a blood testBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Smartie - I'm sorry; it's rubbish when our bodies start playing games with us.
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

always happy to have a buddy snuggles - I'm going 2ww crazy, it's especially bad this time for obv reasons!
Seriously, were our reproductive systems designed by men? I'm sure us girls would have managed to create a far more efficient way than all this waiting, guessing,, hanging around etc!! (can you tell I have the 2ww blues!)0 -
heehee awww thank you scotsgirl
nice to have someone by my side! I know what you mean, it really is silly isn't it? I've told myself it's completely futile to be SS until at least 9DPO as it's highly unlikely implatation would have occured before then, so there's nothing TO symptom spot :rotfl: it's worked ok so far, but give me a day or two......even though I don't think we bd'd at the right times, so it's wishful thinking at the most! I hope you get your BFP this month

Evening girls; I've been taking it easy too this month. AF turning up for August was more of a blow than I first thought. Like CAFC I'm finding it so frustrating and upsetting that this getting pregnant malarkey is not as straightforward as just doing the opposite of what I've been doing for the last ten years!
It's only been about 4 months for me though so I suppose in the grand scheme of things that's nothing! but who said that common sense played any part in TTC and the feelings that go along with it!
Anyhoo, I've decided that if AF shows up again in September (due around the 10th or so) then I'll pick up some ovulation testing kits and give them a whirl. Then we'll go for it big time!
Night night and hope more BFP's are on their way and love to those feeling down.xx

Righto, night girls, I'm off to bed after cleaning out our fridgefreezer (did I mention we discovered it had packed up yesterday? Might have been why the milk has been going off quick, it may have packed up a week ago but we just didn't notice, oops!)
stickybabydust to those of you that are approaching/at ov/past itand stop SS the rest of you... xx
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -

It's all good in the twinklie household. However, I'm builder sitting. He's a lovely LOVELY bloke, but I have work to do and he likes a chat! I'm going to have to start exercising...I'm getting a little tum on me. I've put on half a stone over the holidays...oophs!
Still, if I got that job I'd have more time to go to the gym! Another good reason to apply. This time next week I should of had the chat with the head. Scary stuff!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
