Awww....I know what you mean about the kick in the gut thing. I tend to try and pretend I'm not bothered though. For instance nobody in my family or OH's knows I want kids cos I always turn it into a joke! Or in work or any of my mates for that matter....hmmmm...I do have rather strong self defense mechanisms don't I?
I've only done a little POAS...I tend to talk about doing it rather than actually doing it! As for the eating....thats a different story! I don't stop!!! :rotfl:
Incidentally, chips are in!! :j
Although think my Mums worked it out, so annoying that she knows me so well:rolleyes:Guessing no one has tried the SMEP then1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
[STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)0 -
Guessing no one has tried the SMEP then
I haven't done it per se, but I have been of the policy bd every other day until my monitor goes high, then every day til ov then + 1 past ov (almost killed us when I got 8 days of high before ov though... :rotfl:)Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Hi all. CD 6 for me so nothing doing at the mo...! Very excited for our POAS ladies!!!!
Just trying to do something constructive with my time and wondered if everyone knows about / is entering the free competitions at great competitions website where mother and baby magazine and pregnancy and birth list their giveaways. Has anyone won anything from these yet? There's some great gear to be won!

I suppose the only thing is it would be sad to have a brand new pram waiting whilst ttc... but you could put it in the loft I suppose while you wait!
Other things I've decided to do whilst ttc is save lots of £££ up so that I can enjoy buying new things for the baby when I get a bfp. I'm normally a bit of a spender on new clothes (all the time) but figured there's no point buying new clothes now. I'd rather go goey on cute baby gear!
We have got a spare bedroom that will be a nursery but I am holding off clearing it out until I get a sticky bean.
What's everyone else doing between the BD-ing to keep themselves occupied???
Cheers

Hi Nichart,
I'm the same as Bitzer, done the smep using cbfm instead of ov sticks. I didn't really want to post as it hasn't been that sucessful so far. This will be my 5th cycle of trying it and as Bitzer says it can really tire you out! This is my 4th "high" day on the monitor and neither of us could get in the mood for it at all last night as both really tired. So I was kind of please that today was another high and not peak as means ov will now be friday at the earliest so tuesday's lack of bd'ing shouln't matter too much hopefully! I keep telling myself that and also that it means DH's little swimmers will be of better quality for having the day off!0 -
With my cbfm I dont get any 'high' days....it goes from low for a few days, to medium for a few days to high with egg for one day...then the day after its back to medium, is that ok?? When its on medium I know it will go to high with egg fairly soon so I get on with bd'ing...but is it normal it doesnt give me a 'high' without egg??0

money, what me and becs are referring to as "high" is 2 bars - thats when the monitor detects your oestrogen surge. You only get "peak" - 3 bars with the egg in the top - when it detects your LH surge and then you get it for 2 days then back to high.
If you're only getting one "peak" day it could be that your surge happens early one day so it doesn't get picked up by the monitor until the next day if you see what I mean
I say all that and I had no highs last month (though it asked for 20 sticks and I only had 10 and then went on my hols) and this month its CD12 and still on low, despite my *copious* ewcm and high cervix :rolleyes:Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
I was explaining to my DH before about wanting to know how my cycle works.....he says it's a penny farthing! I think he's trying to be funny! He says I'm a grass for telling you what he said! :rotfl:
He also said I've to wake him up when I test so we can do it together! Awww....bless him!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
