Awwww....Maddie, I'd have been tempted! Not trying to feed the madness but you can get lighter in the beginning...my SIL did. I'd still probably leave it a little while but if it's still bugging you next week then test just to put your mind at rest.

Do you temp or do any other cycle noting stuff?

  • Hi everyone, I just wanted to say thank-you for all your supportive posts, I really appreciate it. It's very early - haven't even seen the doc yet, so I can't tell anyone in real life.
Twinklie - you do make me laugh! I suspect my DH isn't too different to your OH. His comment last night was 'well, of course your pregnant, it's my super sperm! It would have happened earlier if you had got your dates right!' He was joking, I think.....
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Glad to be of service. :D

Yeah it's always our fault...if only we'd done this or that!!! Still I know what is my fault! I was still hungry after eating my pizza....so I just ate my DH's as well!!!

twinklie - nah I don't do temping or anything and I have crazy hormones so get all sorts of symptoms at ramdom times (from Nov last year to this Feb I was having an extra period in the middle of my cycle and was feeling awful just about all the time).

I'm very good at convincing myself of things (i'm pregnant, i've got swine flu etc etc - all wrong), so will ignore the urge and if it turns out i am I'll just find out next month and sticky bean will be bigger than expected at the first scan.

Was going to start temping this month, but OH wants us to just have lots of fun TTCing so will just try for loads of BDing throughout my whole cycle instead!
Proud to be a moneysaver!

Sounds like a good plan. I'm the polar opposite! I need to be hit in the face with a big wet salmon before I'll believe anything! I imagine if I do ever get the bfp I'll do about a million tests and still won't believe it till the baby comes!!

I'm still struggling with the idea that we'll ever have a finished house!! Roll on Saturday when I might be able to have my first ever bath in 3/4 years! Very exciting! Just wished more of the kitchen celling hadn't dropped off when OH was taking the tiles off in the bathroom! DOH!

Twinklie, I really dont know how you have the will power. I keep coming back and checking to see if there has been an update from you. Im keeping everything crossed for you.

I hope all the symptoms and pains etc you have been getting are because of a bfp. I cant wait till tomorrow. Its like watching (reading rather) lol a soap and waiting for the next episode.

Goodluck for tomorrow hun, I will keep everything crossed for you.

OOOOH I always knew I should have been a star!! The TWINKLIE SHOW! Hmmmm....sounds good!

Ah well, if I don't get a bfp you can guarantee I'll have plenty of random updates coming your way. Come to think of it, even if I did I doubt I'd be going anywhere for a while anyhoo! There is NO way I could ever hope to keep up with that pregnancy thread! Good luck to you guys with the bfp with that one!

    Update on THE TWINKLIE SHOW!
Feeling rather nauseous this afternoon...and was so tired before I went for a lie down. I realise this could be due to a million and one things but fingers crossed.

I am exhausted though. I only got up at 9 and have been sat here writing assignments. Had a nod around 3 for 20/30 mins. Am tired again now and really struggling to concentrate! I bed it's all in my head now I'm starting to believe it could happen.

I hope you have your mops and buckets ready for mopping up my tears tomorrow morning!!!
