Hi ladies. Twinklie in answer to your question I am exactly 8wks today.
My o/h has been so sweet, he came home for lunch today with a pressie for me.

When I opened it, it was an at home heart beat monitor with 2 sets of headphones for you to listen to babies heart beats at home. He said it was because I was getting worried because I have been poorly, and to cheer me up he brought it, how sweet, bless him.

Im gonna sit down and go through all the instructions so we can use it together. Im so happy today it has really helped me to know I can put my mind to rest simply by using the machine.

Twinklie i hope you get the result you are looking for, im keeping everything croseed for you. And to everyone else goodluck and lots of sticky babydust.

Awwww....congrats ladies. Sooooo pleased that your all starting to get quite far now. I'm hoping that when those bumps come along you'll post pics. I stalk the pregnancy thread and have complete bump envy over jens bump!

That heartbeat monitor sounds great...your OH is soooo sweet kenco.

Kelinick, I missed your post. When did you get a bfp? Congrats!!!!

Confuzzled, I don't have nerves of steal at all....just keeping busy and trying (and failing) not to think about it. Want to give myself the best chance of a bfp. Besides, I'd rather wait till Thurs because if I call docs in the am, and they have a cancellation (very unlikely) I can say I'm a week late then!!! Rather than just a few days which I've a feeling they would snort at!

I'm more worried it's a sign of fertility problems tbh.

Hey confuzzled, sorry to hear things are tight but you know what they say -if you put it off until you can afford it, you will never be able to afford it! You never know what is around the corner ......
My OH does that as well - rather than talk to me would prefer to bury his head in the sand and pretend that it will all magically sort itself out and I can somehow telepathically know what to do. Men!

Oooo I'm a pg thread stalker too:D Love looking at the new baby pics:D:D
And I see what you mean, docs will prob pay more attention if it's over a week late, plus you have to practically be dying to get past the flamin receptionists:mad:

I'm not worried so much coz I have no problem with tightenng my belt, however, if DH realises he can't have his online football subsricption I'll have a very unhappy bunny on my hands:rolleyes: we're currently planning on how to see his grandad off without getting caught(I'm not totally heartless, he's a truly horrble man!):p:rotfl:
Luckily we also have friends who don't have jobs(ill health, I don't associate with bums:p) but have 2 kids and manage, so they're my back -up argument:rotfl:

    HI Ladies,

Well i am back from a wonderful long weekend, and i am soooo sorry to hear all the sad news, If anyone feels like talking, then please feel free to pm me. I had a mc in April as well.

Right onto my cycle, i am on cd22, and last mont i had a 25 day cycle. FF has now said there is not enough info to say if i ov'd, so no idea what is going on this month. I am going to call the docs and make an appointment to see if i am ovulating. I am feeling a little down about the whole thing, spent the weekend with my best friend who is due in Oct, my friend and her 3 mth old and my brothers girlfriend who is now ttc as well, so a lot of girlie chats. I can be very sensible, but i think i am just feeling like it is not working, so think the docs may just be able to help?

On the potential PhD front, i would take a job as a researcher and then see what happens ttc wise, if no baby then crack on with PhD, otherwise may never do the PhD, so will just wait and see.

Loads of very sticky bean and baby dust to you all :)
