I've just signed up with mymonthly cycles. Do I wait until AF finishes before I start temping or should I be doing it right from CD1?

Afternoon ladies,

Feeling very down today. Got that feeling that its just never going to happen for me. I cant seem to get the thought out of my head today. Need a very big boot up the back side.

Am on CD4, so I should be looking forward to the bding, but urgh........

Sorry, rant over. Off to find something to do, to stop myself getting more wound up!

Does anyone else match my cycle, so that we can maybe support each other?

Gill - I would have thought you'd temp from cd1 but not 100% sure I'm sure someone who's temping will be along soon to tell me I'm wrong:p:rotfl:

Thats exactly how I was feeling on Saturday!!! Must be the cd4 blues:rolleyes::) And I'm on cd6 now s although I'm close I'm not quite matching:(

I'd like a cycle buddy too, might stop me going OTT with the ssing:rolleyes:

Gill, start now, the more data you have to get your pre-ov baseline temp the better I temp, have done since 20th March (bar about 3 days over easter when I forgot to take my thermometer on holiday) and have a mahoosive data set and can see definite patterns in my temps. Its really helpful retrospectively and to help you plan

I'm CD3 hassle, not quite cycle buddies but willing to give it a shot if you are?

Rant away on here then have some of my pma, every day is either closer to ov - and thus keep yourself busy with bd-ing and enjoying your fella - or its closer to AF and you either get your BFP or you get to have another go. Every month is a fresh start, a new slate.
I know its hard, believe me, I've been down a long dark road the last few months, especially with my super-fertile best mate getting bumpier by the day :eek: But I've made a plan and I'm gonna stick to it and keep myself busy to stop me wallowing in "woe is me" thoughts and making myself miserable :grouphug:

I keep messing with your list confuzzled Thought I'd have some pma and put in when FF reckons I'll get AF, thus I still have a potential test date in August (hows about that for deluding yourself?!) Plus, I've just gone and got myself some low dose aspirin to take too, my aim is to be 99% supplements and 1% human by the end of the month :rotfl: OH thinks I've lost it properly now..

When the temp rises does that mean I have already OV'd? And is it too late to BD then or am I right in thinking that if we can get a couple of quickies in it might be ok?

Your temp rises after you've ov'd so it kinda doesn't matter, but its worth a go just to cover your bases so to speak Here's my charts http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/25d1e9 you can look and see how my temp rise is relative to ov, HTH

Hi Bitzer, yeh it would be great to give being a cycle buddy a go.
That way if you get a BFP before me, I can share your happiness, or even better if you get twins, then I can have 1??????:D

Am in a bit of a better mood now, thanks girls. This TTC lark can be quite isolating at times. Am glad your all here to have a rant at.

Spent the past few hours thinking up baby names. Hopefully not jinked anything.
