    Hi all,

Not been on since Sat morning so quick catch up.I'm trying not to come on the thread 'except for the morning as I don't want to deflate the mood..anyhow the sweep didnt work, so I played football in the park ..(have you ever tried to run 41 weeks pregnant? Its funny! You run but dont go anywhere!!!...it felt like it was working last night, pains , feeling grumpy , feeling hot but now nothing !

Sugar- Thanks for the story, I cant believe those nurses! This is why I choose home births. So glad you have your beautiful baby in your arms

NMS – God you made me cry then, I AM being patient aren’t I. Don’t get me wrong I’m thrilled for everyone who gives birth but I’m feeling emotional with it al now especially with getting pains and feeling grumpy (A labour sign for me) then it doesn’t go anywhere!
Glam- Ta for the vibes, as for OH job I think things at meant to be and there’s a better one out there for him. Don’t worry about the movements too much , my lil lady doesn’t move sometimes all day then has a spell of 2 hours beating me up!
W M – I watched Titanic once when pregnant , oh my I cried for hours and hours! Not a good choice at all! I agree about the pram thing MIL’S hey- think they know best. Luckily for us OH hasn’t got a mother that he knows so we don’t get it.
Fitzio – Thankq for vibes, Yes Ness unfortunately you have to be after me, its getting disheartening now !
SJ and EA – You both have lovely bumps, I loved it when I was first showing, loved my bump at all times really, showing it off in dresses etc. I cant stand it at the moment as I feel dowdy now im overdue (must be a mental thing) all my clothes have suddenly worn and look scruffy ..or maybe its me! Enjoy your bumps!

Enjoy the day ladies, weather is lovely here so I'm like a mad washer woman washing everything to get it out on the line.

hi suzy - thanks! Am sending you the strongest labour vibes I can muster!!

Harley - well, I've still not ordered it but was only looking at it again this morning. I need to remeasure the moses basket because the mattress that is currently in there doesn't fill the basket, there is about a 2cm gap all the way around and I don't know if this is normal or not.
Hope to get it ordered this week.

When I went into [STRIKE]MotherIdon'tgiveadamn[/STRIKE] Mothercare they had tons of cot and moses basket mattresses in and were quite helpful. The only thing I've actually bought in there was 2 nursing bras cos they were dirt cheap.

I'm on a roll so be back in a bit :D

oh yea - I came on to say does anyone know where I can get wardrobe organisers cheap? I mean the canvas style shelves to hang inside on the hanging rail of the wardrobe cos if I don't get them these clothes are staying in the vaccum bag!

Hi Suzy, thanks I love my bump too! Every time I walk past a mirror I have a sneaky (or not so sneaky!) side on look at myself! Ha ha! I'm not normally vain!

And you're not bringing the thread down, it's nice to have updates from you. Big big labour vibes for you though so the next update is a birth announcement!! :D

    Morning Suzy

You really are doing everything to get this little girl out. You obviously have far to lovely a tummy and she is more than happy where she is. Football indeed, I was in stitches at the mental picture

Really hoping she gets a wriggle on for you today and that you are having well deserved cuddles very very soon.

    morning all!!

well had a good night knitting. have done the back of a little cardigan and started one of the fronts. had forgotten how addictive it all is.

DH opened the travel sysytem last night. all pieces there!! he couldnt get it opne at first, i managed it after 2 tries. bl00dy diagrams were carp though. looks really nice. tried getting it in and out of front door. (it was 12.30 at night when we were doing this) and have realised that the step up to our house with a pram could see baby sliding out of pram. so will have to use the back door when using the pram element on my own. will be easier as a buggy as baby will well strapped in. gonna ask FIL if we could buuild a ramp for the time being. doesnt need to be cement i guess a wooden one would be ok. just to make it easier to get in and out. so its all up in the baby room now. trying today to fit carseat in car. have said that will be DH job. then need to take up all the carpet from front room.

FIL has also managed to break his foot!! so have to go and have a laugh at him today. (he will be ok with this, i;m not being mean)

Had drama last night, my BP shot up to dramatic levels and they thought I'd developed post natal pre ecclampsia. I'm fine now putting it down to pain from walking.

Chipmonk has had 3 good feeds and her sugar levels are getting better. She is more alert too and has on a pink dress! My milk has came in too...owch... Daddy has the final say on naming her so be prepared for a long wait.

Off to express then lunch then feed chipmonk then hopefully escape a few hours after painkiller time. Woke up feeling that today was going to be tearful day but I feel ok now.
