Is it weird that I've just finished cleaning the kitchen? OH is on nights and I hadn't finished all the cleaning I wanted to do so just kept going. Maybe it's nesting starting early. Off to bed now. Hope you all sleeping well this time.

Hey Beenie,
I'm around. Fell asleep for a short time on the sofa then woke up and had dinner, but didn't enjoy it and just feel a bit sicky. So just surfing the web quietly because I don't want to do anything else. Been picking a fantasy football team for the start of the season and looking at baby clothes on Mini Mode website as they had some good half price things when I was in Boots today. Oh and Jurassic Park is on and I haven't seen it since I was young - it's still really good!!!
I actually thought my refresh button wasn't working as no-one had posted on here for so long!
oh, I need to do mine! I won our mini league last year! Beat OH, BIL, FIL AND MIL who are all supposed to be footy experts!!! Guess I won't be picking Ronaldo this year though!
OH is doing my head in - he has gone to car boot and has rang 6 times in last 20mins to see if he should buy stuff. !!!!!!?!!!! I didn't come because I need the rest so why the fluck are you ringing me at 6.30am on a Sunday. Have just got shirty with him but am now too wired to get back to sleep. WIll try though because I won't to get on with house stuff and don't want to use the tired excuse later!!!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Morning- Glam- get back to bed and switch your phone off! Drives me mad when the phone goes just as you drop off.
I'm off to work in a bit which is lovely. I managed to not buy anything on eBay last night- I did bid on one bag but didn't win it!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hi GISI - Hope ur day goes quickly! Nothing worse than having to work weekends.
Well, he didn't phone me back until my alarm went off at 8.30am which was good timing as I was about to hit the snooze button so he's forgiven :A
It's a lovely day here, my plan is to crack on with some tidying until OH comes home (probably got an hour and a half or so) and then get listing on eBay again. I now want this house sorted out (agh maybe the nesting is starting )
will pop back now and then to see who's onA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Morning all...I swear all last night I dreamt about prams! This silly pram from M&Ps is still haunting me, but I feel better about not buying it once I found one listed on Gumtree for £60
. Also just rang the airline to find out why our tickets haven't been issued (they've been "purchased" but not "ticketed") and turns out the credit card company put a hold on it but no one decided to tell us! Gee thanks that's real helpful . To be fair it's my dad's card and likely they tried to phone him on old # or something...I feel bad b/c the last thing he needs right now is to go chasing credit card companies. I hate living in different timezones!
Going up to the ILs today () so woohoo.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Morning girls
I couldn't believe how quiet it was last night. Seems when I'm on it's really quiet, yet every time I come back here there's always so much to catch up on - how does that work?
Well I was awake for a good couple of hours with wisdom tooth pain last night - in hindsight I think the bag of really crunchy tortillas last night was a bad idea. Got an appointment with my dentist on Tuesdaybut really hope he doesn't cancel. He's always off sick as he has bad hips and my last 3 have been cancelled. I really need him to be in this week though!
Glam my OH is a bit like that, has to check everything with me before he does it! It's quite sweet but sometimes I wish he'd just get on and do it!!0 -
Morning ladies and bumps.
Glam - did you ever buy that mattress for the moses basket from ebay? I was wondering if it is any good as mothercare were as unhelpful as usual yesterday.
They sent me all those vouchers so a mattress was one of the things I was going to get. I asked a few weeks ago if they had any in stock and was told they always had them (the 9.99 ones). Went in yesterday to get one and was told they weren't 'ranged' for them. (???) couldn't get the girl to explain what ranged meant, she just kept repeating it but I got the gist of it - they lied before and they don't keep it in stock at all. Anyway, I said it's in your catalogue so could you order it for me please. Yes she said, that will cost £5.00 to deliver. No, I said, can you have it delivered here (to the shop) and I'll come and get it. Yes, she said, it'll cost £5 delivery. 50% of the mattress cost just to deliver it, even to the damn shop. What are these people on??? So I said that I would go somewhere where they understood the concept of Customer Service. I am really not impressed.
Anyway, it gets better. I had a 10% discount voucher sent Friday for an over £50 spend so I got the rest of what I wanted and handed over £50 worth of vouchers. Total spend minus the discount was £48. The manager was helping the SA put the sale through and explaining how to combine vouchers and discount and stuff and she said 'There's no change with vouchers is there?'. No he said. Yes there is, I said, you just give me vouchers or a gift card with the £2 on. Oh, says the manager. Ok then. The damn MANAGER!!! Trying to steal my money. Mothercare should really hang their heads in shame. I am disgusted with them again.
Anyway, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.
so, can Glam, or anyone else, give me a recommendation for ebay moses basket mattresses?
Thanks

Aww Harley i bet you can't wait til you've spent all your vouchers and never have to set foot in a M'care again! I feel exactly the same way about BT - I had 18 months of problem after problem with them and would NEVER have anything to do with them again!!0

Thanks Sarah, it's just so frustrating.
After they sent the extra £10 as an extra sorry I really thought they were getting their act together. Only £50 worth of vouchers left to spend and not too much left to get so will just be posh clothes now. But they are so expensive. I need sheets and things but they are nearly twice as much as tesco, and I can use clubcard points to double up, when they arrive in a couple of weeks, so it seems like a waste to buy in Mothercare just to get rid of the vouchers.
Did get a really cute Humphreys Corner outfit yesterday. Little baby grow, hat, vest and blanket. £20 though, bl00dy extortionate. But soooo cute.
Got a few more loads of washing to do of all the stuff I have been given, might tackle that today. Been having nasty nosebleed this morning so I'll finish reading the paper first, be gutted if I dripped blood on any of these gorgeous little dresses. My little girl has been sooo spoiled and she's not even here yet
I keep looking at all the baby pictures that have been posted and I so want her here now. The recent spate of babies are all so beautiful, I'm getting really impatient to meet mine now. Though, I'm really going to miss being pregnant.
