'Tis OK Boo, if I am spending money I like to feel I am not doing it alone!

Have just given the dog a bath, he is now sulking and looks like a huge cotton wool ball with a frown! I feel guilty but Inlaws ar ehavin him 4 wk end and he's a bit old and smells like satans butt most of the time and its not fair to inflict him on other people like that!

Looking at Boots webste at the minute, double points and 20% off prams look good, got a code for an extra 10% off too from joining parenting club, but not sure what to do, I think it's sensible to wait til i've seen them in the flsh, but got a serious case of the I wants!

Am rambling, can't be bothered to talk to anyone, typing is much easier after talking aaaaalllllllllll day

Job sounds great Glam, hope it all goes well when u get started, sounds like a lot of responsibility

    Hi
Just popping by to see if any has heard from ss yet ? Also to say thanks Gemma got a pair of those Jeans and a top as well. Have a pile of ironing to do but talked myself out of it seeing as half of it does not fit anymore ?? So no point, downside oh now wants more wardrobe space (), but i keep reminding him he moved in with me and i was here before him !!! Dont know how much longer i can get away with that though it's been quite a while.
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

Well just done hour and half of ironing. Still loads left but have had enough. Now just have to put it away, :(.

OH and DS out watching Man United. Am currently watching Economy Gastronomy on BBC 2. Very MSE, but i'm far too fusy to eat most of the recipies they are showing.

As soon as i've sat down, the Braxton Hicks have kicked in. Ouchey! Think a bath and book maybe in order, as nothing else on i want to watch and if i stay on the laptop, may start surfing, etsy and ebay again.

Ironing is done, 1 load of towels to get dried. Kids are away, DS2 was sleeping and so howling when he went away because he had just woken up. And I had a bit of a panic when I came back in. Was hugging the kids saying bye and the random thought popped in of what if I never see them again! I shall not panic, I shall not panic.

Luckily I have my next thing to worry about lined up for after the section, meaning I don't have to worry about the section :D Madness I know! And it's only a worry till about lunch time tomorrow.

Off to hoover and wander about picking at stuff to calm my nerves, remind me to take my antacid at 10pm!

Boogellyboo, great news about teh bundle, you won't regret it!

Sitting with my feet in a washing up bowl of cold water - bliss!
Only annoyance I've had with my pregnancy is puffy feet and only really one, most odd!

Watching Midsomer murders and wondering whether to carry on with my sewing, nearly finished no 8, 2 more to go and I'm away by the coast all next week so should get it done.

Went to a press show today by Dulux who are launching a compact version of their paintpod mid sept, so if anyone was thinking of shelling out for one wait compact version is cheaper and uses all the same colours, only downside is it isn't self-cleaning!

Good luck tomorrow for the section Tia. Shall be thinking of you first thing in the morning.

I'm having a stressful few days. The situation with the 16 year old bothering my SN DD has suddenly blown up into something very serious, but can't post about it, as now the subject of legal action. Not what I need at this point in the pregnancy.

hi bear - my feet have been swollen again today! OH said my calves were looking a lot bigger - must be all the extra weight I'm carrying.

Tia - you will be fine!! Try to get plenty of rest tonight
Meant to say earlier well done for the B - what are you studying?

my friend went into be induced yesterday and refused! She was really frightened and wouldn't go thru with it - she is 10 days over and has been 3cms since yesterday but with nothing since

    Hi Glam,

Mine look like I have elephantitous (sp)!

I didn't know you could refuse induction, most interesting!

Good grief, Nicki sounds awful. I don't know the ins and outs but make sure you rest and keep your stress levels down - this sounds like the last thing you need. Big bear hug.

  • Big hugs to you Nicki. Hope it all gets sorted out quickly.

Tia- you must be so excited!!!!

We're watching Midsomer too, even though I wanted to watch Economy Gastronomy on Beeb 2. My OH thinks he's going to be Barnaby one day.
