Hey WM, was thinking out you earlier - I did notice you hadn't been on. Glad to here hubby is home, at least your days will be less hectic now. Did he get anywhere will the OP, or is it just a case of wait and see.
We call one of the girls in the office a woollyback cos it really winds her up - she's from Warrington. Actually, thinking about it, I hope I haven't offended anyone with that one
Thanks NMS, no, Op not happening. Have to have all Steroids out of sytem and be well to have an OP. They wreckon if they can get a steroid that actually works, he could have a really good run of being well. Well thats fab and all, but he would really just like to be well full stop.
No offence taken by me. OH calls me a Scouser even though i have a strong wigan accent. Common, Moi ? :rotfl:0 -
Now names, have 9 weeks to go and have no names. Really stuggling to find any boys names we like and agree on. My suggestion of Lucas got put down, because of all things - there is a Liverpool player with that name, what would my mates say. For gods sake, who cares. Its our baby and its only the blokes surname. Can't think of anything else. Apart from Noah , which he likes, but is too biblical:rolleyes:. I am sick of trawling the names websites and coming up with zero. Help, Help, help! Please.
Have long list of girls, but no strong favourite. And for some reason i'm really thinking this is a girl. OH thinks another boy because of all the strong kicking (its going to be a footballer! - yes whatever darling:p)0 -

Well that's a lot of use to ya! How's he supposed to get well AND steroid free, to enable him to have the op? Fingers crossed for you that these steroids actually work for him. You need him around with bubs so close to being here. Oh, and while he is home, feeling better and actually sleeping, make sure you take some time to look after YOU!!!!
Oh, can't help on the name, we only have the one that we can decided one, god know what were going to do if he doesn't look a ***** when he's born :rolleyes:0 -
We found boys names really hard too, we trawled through so many and couldn't agree, I loved Jonah and Rowan and Mark hated them, but we've finally found one that we both agree on and have started referring to bump by his name as well, only at home though, we're not telling anyone else though because i got so sick of hearing everyones opinions on our name choices....
why do people think i care if they knew an "xxx" once and he was a weirdo....0 -

Amelia, thats on the list. I like it and it can also become Millie. But there seems to have been loads of girls called that recently, everytime i hear of a birth rond here it's an Amelia. Also have Katie, which we had when we had DS (who is a Joseph / Joe by the way) and Ava. I am also liking Violet, but not brought that one up yet. Oh and Anna, but i have red hair, that is quite curly and frizzy naturally (thank god for GHD's). What if its is a girl and also gets the ginger gene and we call it Anna. Its so going to get called Annie all its life.
Why is it so hard? It is was so easy with DS.0 -
OH is like that with names to. I suggested this one girls name to him and he said "oh i knew some girl by that name and she was a !!!!!!, so we cant have that"
Doesn't mean our baby will be a !!!!!! lol.
But for boys we have- Dexter (strong fave)
- Kasper
- Isaac
- Riley

- Evie

Hi everyone,
Molly, lovely pictures of Bronwen - I especially like the last one she looks so cheeky already! I bet you are thrilled!
I'm on my countdown of my last days in work now, 4 to go (Thurs, Fri, Mon and Tues)!!
Even though I slept well last night I had to go and have a sleep this morning for nearly 2 hours - felt totally wiped out. A bit better now though.
My OH has just rang and said he will be working late (he went in at 8am this morning) I asked until when and he said "possibly tomorrow morning" Surely that isn't legal it's 24hours and I wonder if they'll expect him to work as usual tomorrow?! This is a large public organisation too!

EA, I love the name Phoebe, but its my dogs name (please dont be put off by that), i always said i wasn't having kids and she was my baby, shes 13 now and old lady.
Evie, best mates brother has an Evie
Lily, bloke at work has an lily
I get put off when i know someone with a child with that name. Keep thinking they'll get upset and think we can't think of our own names.
OH likes these names
Grace - Best mates sister has a grace
Isobel - Friend has an Isobel
Mia - Another friend has one
But OH is not bothered and doesn't get it. His best mate called his son Joseph a year after we had ours. It didn't bother him or me actually. OH thinks i'm just soft.0
