Be Nice To Newbies

I'm really pleased this new rule is being introduced. I absolutely hate seeing a newbie get flamed because they've asked a "stupid" question or because people think they are trolling/lying.

I saw on a thread recently, somebody was asking for advice, some people thought they were lying, somebody said the fact they only had three posts meant they were lying We all only had three posts at some point or another. It's things like this that put newbies off.

theres a guy who seems to be flaming the newbies and everyone else goes by the name of thomas best freind he is calling people pathetic losers and scum because they asked questions for example what benifits can i get while pregant or somone asked baout buying out of date food can somone just ban him please hes definitly a troll

I agree. He's out to cause trouble and nothing else.

oh yea!! can somebody plz shed some light on why at the end of my post i have, edit. quote when other posts have thanks and quote, what am i doing wrong??

James, has anyone reported this user? Admin can only act if they get reports about this person otherwise they won't know about these objectionable posts.

im not sure it wont let me do it it tries to open out look which i dont have so if anyone could do it that would be great

You're not doing anything wrong, that's how it is supposed to be. Its because you might want to thank other posters, but you might want to edit your own post. It's the same for all of us, we all see our own posts that way

I've just reported him. He's a horrid little troll. Let's hope he gets PPR'd before long.

i jsut sent an email to abuse mentiong the offenders action s in the one thread but hes made 27 posts in different threads which means we have to report each one i take it

I don't either but I hope someone does report him, he is bad news!
