That's terrible, no wonder you went to so much trouble to get a bag.
Since the restrictions came in in 2006, we've travelled to Goa 3 times, Mexico, Corfu, Zante, Skiathos, Barcelona, Dublin, Turkey, Bali, to China and on 5 internal flights within China - from 4 different UK airports and have never had a problem with the type of bag we used. None of the foreign aiports have had problems either.
I wonder why Portugal were being different?0
