oops thanked you by mistake :rotfl:
Not everyone has a Primark though
so was trying to be helpful to those who don't have one nearby, giving another choice
Home Bargains / B&M bargains are in many towns
mobby,it was a few months ago I purchased them there,so it could be that they no longer sell themWill have a look in my local
Don't understand the thanked you by mistake to chuckley?
Primarni is nationwide Home Bargains however exclude London.
I don't know where Home Bargain or Primark have shops I just thought it was a good buy?
I also went to B&M they didn't have them or sell them?????????????
Could you tell me where's your local shops for any of these, because I'd like to ask mine why they don't have any in stock?0 -
basically they were trying to quote me but 'thanked' instead.
yes it is a good buy to sum but rachie mention H.B's, but they are very tiny and have very few shops and exclude london, hence my reply to them.
however, primarni is all over the country. i think B&M are the same... very little dotted around the country.0 -
I have been saving and washing out all the little bottles and jars from Christmas/birthday gift sets of toiletries and also from hotel stays. Also saved up freebie sample sachets of shower cream etc from mags ....have got plenty now for hols!0

I do this too, Bronnie.
The little 15ml trial pots of Anew from Avon last me 3-4 weeks filled with a lighter moisturiser.
I know exactly how much shampoo/conditioner etc we use in a 2 or 3 week holiday and take that amount, I decant Avon Skin-So-Soft body oil spray (good for moisturising skin and as a deterrent for mozzies - not as a replacement for proper deet-based repellent though) into a 50ml spray bottle etc etc.0 -
I was after a small plastic bottle to put some shampoo in to take on holiday.
I bought a "reduced" bottle of Boots "pre-shave" lotion at 50p, gave it my my neighbour (I have a beard) who poured it into his part used bottle of similar stuff and gave me the empty bottle back - everyone happy !0 -

I wash out all small bottles & jars but they go in my checked in luggage to save on my weight allowance. I can't use just any creams have a problem with my skin.
It was just when I was going away on a short trip to Belfast, I only had hand luggage & didn't have a clear resealable plastic bag to put them in. (On my way home from Portugal I'd given mine to an old lady who'd been stopped & was getting all her things taken at security)
They said her bag was not the right size or resealable!
I looked everywhere Asda, Tesco, Wilkinsons, Superdrug because I needed the bag, Boots was the only place I found them at £5.000 -

Hi
I'm a bit confused.
Are you saying you paid £5.00 for the 20cm x 20cm resealable bag that you put your 100ml max bottles/pots in?0 -
No I only wanted to find the bag but couldn't find one anywhere.
You can buy the refill bottles & jars seperately but not the bag.
Boots had the set for £5.00 similar to the one in Primark.
After seeing & hearing security can be awkard I didn't want to lose all my toiletries, perfume & make up mainly.0 -

Gatwick supply the bags free (at least they did back in May), I think you can also use freezer bags (as long as they are the correct size and re-sealable).
Last time we flew I used a bag that had had 2 pairs of Primark knickers in, they had the type of closure where you pull a bit of plastic across.
Slightly smaller than 20cm x 20 cm but no problem going through Security.0 -
I think the old lady had a freezer bag but they wouldn't let her though with it in Portugal.
That's the type of bag I was looking for.
Never thought of a knickers bag, I could of had 2 prs of nicks aswell. LOL.0
