i have had a niggly cough for a couple of days but no other cold symptoms...

the run last night was a wee bit tough on the breathing front, although the legs were fine... i was quite prepared to stop and walk if i needed to but didn't seem so bad until i stopped...

since then though it has been worse... am fed up of coughing now and it's making my chest hurt....

i do 40 miles in a month on average lately...! 40 miles per week is a lot!

It might just have moved stuff around a bit - hopefully it should 'cough out' today and then get better but some buttercup syrup usually works for me :D

Did 37 both of the last two weeks - will peak at about 60 at the end of August and stay there till December then push on (hopefully to about 80 but we'll see on that) in the new year for an early April marathon :D

I set myself a mini challenge on Fetch at the start of the year... 365miles in 2009. i.e. a mile a day running......

i'm about 25 miles ahead of target so far...

    do his parents know anything?

I would sit down and have a nice chat with his mum, and make sure she hears about his behaviour...

she'll sort him out and maybe give him some home truths...

    hope you're okay though hun.

  • Good morning everyone.

Was going to allotment today, but it has been pee'ing of rain, so that was that. I will go tomorrow

Then decided I needed to find out what was wrong with computer, screen doesn't come on when started up. Nothing wrong with computer its the monitor, which unlike the computer is not under guarantee anymore:mad:. Fortunately geeky son has computer monitors everywhere..... old style, nearly weighed as much I do.:o, but at least I have a working screen now. Have googled new monitors and decided we can go without for now. Just have to wear my glasses more often.

I also discovered that I cant remember my password for this site, so need to email someone to try and find out what it is:o

So now I need to do some cleaning, some prep for meeting with new client tonight (book-keeping/tax return) Kick son into touch get him to do some maths, and guitar practice. Fill in my shiny red diary I bought yesterday (I love new things like that and it was very mse £1.99 for hardback a4)

I think I will go and make a cup of tea and find a pen:D

    Bookie have a lovely holiday:j
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

Ok. I have a slight problem DD1 and SIL took my suitcase to Australia. First time it was used as KLM broke mine and replaced it. It has a combination lock which they have set and neither of them is answering the phone.
