    Okay first task would be to get pen and paper and go round each room and list what needs to be done in each room.

    We never go hun, too many complications - large dog who cant be left, cats who would be fine for a few days but not a week, little or no budget etc etc :rolleyes:

    I just do the same each year - look last minute, dream and pray :cool:

    dining room - clear out crap
    kitchen - clear out crap
    utility room - clear out crap
    conservatory - clear out crap
    garage - clear out crap

    That's downstairs sorted :D

    Take my living room....easy cos just had floor done so pretty empty....

    Empty newspaper box and put in garage paper recycling box.
    Baby stuff - kick DD1 out and send baby stuff with it..
    WII - send the bloody thing back to Nintendo again!!!!!
    Fireplace - brasso the brass stuff
    Call man to look at broken fire...
    Paint skirting boards
    Needs two new light bulbs....
    Take covers off settee and wash

    edit: now I have written that down I feel a whole lot better.....

    might have a go at that little lot over the weekend..
