Yeah they're both horrible stories. Drowning I think is the worst death imaginable, growing up in Scarborough it was in the news fairly regularly.

when we were kids we used to go and play on the beach in Happisburgh near my nans house. She used to go on at us about being safe near the water but us kids were, well, kids. One day there was a child who drowned and his body washed out to sea, a few days later his body was washed up onto the beach and while the emergency services were being called nan made us go and look at the boy, he was bloated and blue. Horrible. But, we never messed around in the sea again after that.

I've always had a fear of drowning since then, and twice it's almost happened, once when I was on a sailing boat which flipped over and I got my foot caught in a rope so was dragged under and another time in turkey when something similar happened on a stupid banana boat. I'm terrified of water now, the shallow end of a swimming pool is my limit.

    Suitcase now open. :D
Just been for a huge lunch with my parents and DD1 and Samuel.
    The post has arrived.
A&L statement - still adding interest, default charges and over limit charges.
Also a notice of sums in arrears with a flyer from Office of Fair Trading advising me to get advise from CCCS etc.
They've had the CCCS letter, they phone me every day and hang up.
Am I ok to leave this until I get back do you think?

I'd leave it, maybe by the time you've got back the CCCS letters will have filtered through onto the account.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Toto, that's awful. :( So many freak accidents today. I remember when I was about 6 our teacher showed us a Farmyard accidents video (we lived in a very rural part of Norfolk...oooh arrr) and it scarred me for life!

Today has been quite a good day, albeit cold - I've won £20 on the bingo and I'm babysitting my SIL's children.
