1) Can you go on a mobile contract if you are unemployed but are recieving benefits?

    Dont see why not. I got a '3' contract last week. Im unemployed and my credit history is shot to s**t.
    Certain providers are easier than others, three and t-mobile seem to be the most lenient, saying that they will probably only allow low value contracts and you wont be able to get the latest phones.
