You dont say how long the holiday is but I would opt to keep 2 rooms (assuming thats what you've got booked) rather that try and get one room and all share. Unlikely the hotel will refund you anything because you've not paid for it. Take advantage of the extra space.

Is this person who's not going wanting their money back, because if its outside 8 weeks and a package they would just lose their deposit, but that doesnt help you with the £129 single supplement unless you take it out of any money they are owed as they're the ones thats dropping out and causing the problem. If you are the lead passenger then you could just leave that person on the booking as only you can do anything and go to the airport as normal and tell them as above its a no show.

I had a holiday booked & my OH fell ill the day before our flight & could'nt go. (not seriously)
I just turned up at the airport & told them he was ill.

You never know they might get back together before then?

As long as you've got her money! I've heard many tales in family of people booking and paying for trips on behalf of someone who then decides they aren't going to go, and don't expect to have to pay anything. Leaving the booker well out of pocket!

hotels website conditions on n-shows is nothing to do with you if you have booked a package via a tour operator .

Maybe give us some ideas on who was on booking ( you mention still 3+1 travelling) and what prices paid

hi yes there are 3 adults still travelling and a child aged 2 , the holiday cost 1 ,795 pounds. I'm pleased to know that hotels conditions don't apply if booking a package , ,
