Cheap car hire in Reading, Berkshire

I am planning to hire a 4 seater economical car for 2-3 weekends in August for some personal travel with my folks. Need suggestions regarding cheap care hire from Reading - like any offers on Avis, Enterprise etc or any other dealers or tips/suggestions.

Will be traveling to Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh from here.

The only time I hired a car before this was from Avis, Leeds and I liked their service. Strangely Avis' only office for Reading is in Bracknell ! so my options have got limited.

Any help would be appreciated.
