    Try Specsavers, I hear they have a number of offers on at the moment.

    Sarah, I am awaiting the investigating officer to telephone me today (Friday)
    They have said they have had a back log and therefore, the ticket was investigated until the start of this week and at present there are awaiting the final say to cancel the ticket from there parking services manager.

    Erm, apparently yes. You haven't shown it?

    IME it is not uncommon for people fairly new to the game to misinterpret both written responses and procedure itself.

    I believe this why Sarah expressed surprise at what you 'say' the Council have said. I wholly agree with her if that is the case. What you have described is extremely unusual.

    You still fail to explain the full circumstances (BB displayed or not) and hence no one can advise on which is the best course of action.

    UPDATE

    Just to let you all know, council wrote to me again, case is still on hold pending the investigation.
    Very odd, but ben told could take upto another 3-4 weeks to complete?!
