Just a quiery

Hi all,i have a cc with lioyds tsb,i had a limit of 4,000,which is being reduced to 1,000 ?,if i want to appeal against this i must write to expierian ? to explain that i want my current limit to stay the same or they reduce it,why is this ? i had a couple of plans with some of the cash

    utter nonsense, experian have nothing to do with your credit limit - speak to lloyds! I think you'll find they meant that you should get your credit file from experian because they reduced it based on info provided by experian about you....... do you have debts or anything bad like defaults or late payments to other credit commitments? If so, that will be why they reduced the limit.

    I know i have to reply within 2 months and tell them various things in written form like my personal account,account numbers etc.So would you just have a word with ltsb ?

    excatly, go into branch but they won't budge.... its nationaide and bank wide - not specific to Lloyds mate.

    You've misread the letter!

    You must appeal to LTSB in writing, and include a copy of your credit report (which you'll first have to obtain from Experian).

    How do I know? I had the same letter, and chose to close my account instead!
