Hi all,i have a cc with lioyds tsb,i had a limit of 4,000,which is being reduced to 1,000 ?,if i want to appeal against this i must write to expierian ? to explain that i want my current limit to stay the same or they reduce it,why is this ? i had a couple of plans with some of the cash

utter nonsense, experian have nothing to do with your credit limit - speak to lloyds! I think you'll find they meant that you should get your credit file from experian because they reduced it based on info provided by experian about you....... do you have debts or anything bad like defaults or late payments to other credit commitments? If so, that will be why they reduced the limit.

excatly, go into branch but they won't budge.... its nationaide and bank wide - not specific to Lloyds mate.

You must appeal to LTSB in writing, and include a copy of your credit report (which you'll first have to obtain from Experian).
How do I know? I had the same letter, and chose to close my account instead!0
