anyone know how to fix a knackered ipod?"For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0

No.
Wrong forum, possibly?0 -
Given the drivel being discussed above I reckon the question was relatively sensible.

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

Yes whats the problem....
I get the above screen (unhappy ipod icon) when i switch it on. I've booted it into disk mode and tried to run some of the diagnostic tests. However they dont reveal much.
The biggest pain is that itunes and my pc no longer recognise the ipod when its connected. So i cant wipe it or reformat it.
I also took the back off, but couldnt see any obvious signs of damage....any ideas?
