    Morning allsmiley-greet024.gif

Well, it would seem I have a problem - well two actually:eek:.

Number one, I'm becoming obsessed with selling things. I got such a high from two people picking up two of the Gumtree items yesterday, that I immediately turned round and said to my husband "I must sell something else tomorrow - that's my target", with a rather menacing tone.smiley-devil01.gif

What will I do when I've run out of things to sell? Seriously though, I'm in rather panic mode. Four weeks on Thursday we have to pack up and leave. I still have so much furniture etc to get rid of.

Have coaxed my husband into a car boot sale on Saturday. This will be good because 1. it will satisfy my yearning to make cash, and 2. it will clear all the rubbish piling up around the house before our visitors arrive:A.

My second problem - a bit more serious. This thread has become about my move to Australia and not so much about debt busting. I aim to give a proper update later today on the state of play with what's left. No point in posting on here the letters I'm sending, as they are all "no, you can't doorstep me, because I say you can't and the OFT agrees". The remainder are all "I offered you a F&F, threaten me all you like - that's as good as it gets". I might post one of these, just for the crack.:D

That's it folks, back in a little while with my "to do" list for today.

    Prepare yourselves.

BTW if you happen to search for ANYTHING on eBay what comes up is likely to belong to me:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I love your thread whether its about debt busting , Australia or sellign things, so I really dont care.

As you know I luuurve the letters you write, not stolen any bits from them as yet, but give me time !!

We still have hoards of stuff to sell, but its does become a little obsessive, I had a conversation alst night with Mr Pinot that I am worried as to what happens when I have nothing left to sell other than the roof over our heads, or the family !!!

I watched a little bit of the Call Centre programme last night, very interesting !

    Hi Pinot,

To be honest my attention span was so poor last night, I turned the programme off after ten minutes, then watched the last ever Desperate Housewives episode I have sky +'d and saved for a special occasion ;).

It was as expected fab :D.

I'm so pleased you love my thread, I promise to keep it up from Australia, although I'm bound to disappear for a few weeks whilst I get broadband organised, and also get my new life in order!

Actualyl mine was the same last night, I think i managed about 15mins but that was enough to get the general idea of the underhand tactics they use !!

I have completely missed this series of Desperate Housewives, so I will need to put it on my Xmas List I think :D

Glad you are going to try and keep the thread going when in Oz, I think alot of people will be looking forward to hearing how you and the family are getting on xxx

Well, one thing ticked off the list already. Have done another Global Testmarket survey, and redeemed 1000 points for a £30 cheque. I'm having it sent to my neighbour and she will bank it for me when it arrives :).

Was planning to ditch the survey sites, but instead I've decided I think I'll keep it going, keep getting the cheques sent to my neighbour and she can bank them. She has offered, I'm not that cheeky:p.

I might even continue with the rest of the voucher ones too - as dull as they are, I could continue redeeming vouchers and sell them on UK eBay? Just need to find a willing poster :).

Sad about the hamster. I guess like here, they aren't allowed in the country?

Yeah to more sales though that is ace.

Just so you know, some UK survey sites know that you aren't in the UK and won't let you take part. B*ngoport is one and V*lued Opinions is another one. Oh and Li*htspeedpanel
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

    Hi Chev

Thanks for the advice on the survey sites - maybe time to give up with those.

We're not sad about the hamster, she is a vicious little sod. My son hasn't bothered with her since a week after getting her, so we never had any intention of taking her. I'm not completely heartless, I do hope she goes to a good home! :)

Not much action in the last hour, but a few other things have come my way. Had to sort out cancelling the TV licence, so I've fired off an email about that. Also, having to take out a complaint with the Deposit Protection Scheme due to an argument with our old London Landlord.

    Busy busy!:p

    Getting there, slowly but surely.

Hoping to carry on packing, trying to find our important documents and leave the selling until evening. Something I can do with my feet up and nice glass of vino:D.
