Received a letter from Santander re: my email complaint about the £25 they left in charges despite refunding the £450. They are not willing to return the £25. I think I will refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman. The price of a stamp is worth the try;).

Bad news - hubby got a speeding fine on the way to collect me from the airport £30 plus points on his clean license:mad:. There goes the cheap car insurance.

Got a parking ticket months ago which I paid at the reduced rate by sending a cheque 2 days before the deadline. Royal Mail didn't deliver it in time and just received a letter asking for another £30. I can appeal to the parking adjudicator or pay it. I doubt the parking adjudicator will be very sympathetic that the Royal Mail are rubbish. Think I will have to pay it:mad:.

On the plus side Littlewoods balance is down to £1207.71:j

Got the CCA from an old AA loan - no PPI.

And finally, Geoffrey Parker Bourne "Solicitors" have written to me threatening to go for a CCJ on one of the overdrafts I've made a F&F. The F&F has been made directly to the OC, as I think they are probably "in house" solicitors. Of course their letter shows fees and court costs added on:mad:.

Have they responded at all to your F & F?

The F&F was made to HBOS who the overdraft was with, rather than any one of the million different debt collectors who have written to me about it. Deciding who to make the offer to was like Russian Roulette so decided to make the offer to the bank. No response yet - deadline of 20th September was given in the letter.

Just redid my totals and my signature - only £6770.32 to go.:j:j:j:j:j

£2135 of this is the 2 HBOS overdrafts (£900 of which is charges!!), which I currently have made F&Fs on - yet to hear.

Having recalculated my total I feel a bit of a fraud with a thread called Massive Debts:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I remember the day I wrote my first post and dreamed of the day when I owed £7k. I used to read other people's threads and thnk what the hell is there to worry about with £7k debt:(. Debt free date has to come forward to November 2012. If its gone before then we are off early!!
