Watch the small print. The Pure milk offer (40 points for milk costing £1.59) is actually buy 2 to get the points. I missed this in store although I am sure that this wasn't listed on the shelf label (it is on Tesco's website). (I get caught out before on another offer on milk - when I double checked the shelf ticket was price per item [in large print] 'bonus points' [in large print] '2 Tesco milk' [in tiny print under the points offer].
Tesco seems to have resorted to some sharp practice lately. For example, always double check that buying a larger product size is not actually more expensive per unit than buying a smaller pack size.0 -
All of mine only state *keep refrigerated*
Are you sure you are looking at the correct product?
Wouldn't want everyone to fill their freezers with the stuff if it gets ruined by the freezing process;)
Just got back fom yet another trip toTesco.
The large tubs of this olive spread do state that it can be frozen,
the smaller ones don't.
Bit of a crafty trick me thinks, to stop us buying too many small ones with the extra points.
My local Tesco have pulled this deal today, should by all accounts be running up until the 21st. Will be at customer services tomorrow :mad:0 -
Not that jammy, but the "pure" milk 2L size (Tesco imitation of Cravendale) has 40 points extra when you buy.
£1.60 a bottle. Good if you buy it anyway.
I bought 3 bottles, but when I checked my receipt only 40 points has gone on. I'm off to see CS tomorrow. :eek:I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 20100 -

This deal is when you buy 2x cartons of 2l pure milk, so
2 cartons of milk = 40 pnts
4 cartons of milk= 80pnts

My husband bought Tesco Enriched Olive Spread from the local Tesco and the receipt didn't show any sign of extra points. Take a look at their website. There is no offer under this product. Besides, I also bought Tesco pure fresh milk 2ltr as there was a note under the shelf, '40 extra points' and again the receipt didn't show any sign of these points. Then I realised that the website says, 'add 2 for offer'. I needed to buy 2 bottles to get the extra points though.
How am I supposed to know whether I've got 'extra points' or not? I've really coufused by this inf0 -
Initially, the milk offer was different- I thought so & confirmed it today when I found an old receipt in the bottom of my bag.
When it started, it was buy 2x 2 pinters (old fashioned gal) for 40 extra points.
The "pure" 4pint was buy one for 40 points.
I don't know when they changed it, but they did!
The Olive spread offer has ended, but it was meant to run til the 21st.Only dead fish go with the flow...0 -
You actually got the right amount of points.
This deal is when you buy 2x cartons of 2l pure milk, so
2 cartons of milk = 40 pnts
4 cartons of milk= 80pnts

went to customer services, the girl there was really lovely, but could not find out anything about when the offer on points was withdrawn from the store. She called down the section manager, who was not too helpful, he didn't know there had even been an offer on this item:rolleyes:.
Went home, rang thru to clubcard customer services, got my points plus an extra 100 as a gesture of goodwill.:j0
