Your search facility still seems not to work in Netscape, thus excluding those of us who don't like to use Internet Extorter for browsing, because it's open to all sorts of scams, viruses, trojans and so on...if i had known then what i know now0

Oooh can you elaborate on this as to what actually happens :beer:grahamm wrote:Thus excluding those of us who don't like to use Internet Explorer for browsing, because it's open to all sorts of scams, viruses, trojans and so on...
Ive been a user of IE since its birth and Ive never had a Virus or Trojan that has stopped me using IE anything I have had (about 3 in all) were all my fault and easily removed.
Scams however can happen to anyone as thats just upto the individuals
street cred to fall for anything.
If you would however like a more secure Web Browser FireFox or Opera is a good choice as Netscape is about as good as IE for the average user who doesn't too much about the workings of browsers and security.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but searching for info on the British Airways Amex card yesterday and today came up with nothing - tried the all three words, tried BA Amex, tried each word separately - despite being able to see "Amex" in some posts and titles the search didn't seem able to locate and filter them for me. Oh well, I'll just have to work my way through the Credit Card forum!0

The search facility usually works for me but quite often it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be any logical explanation that I can think of.
If the administrators had turned off the search facility to preserve bandwidth, I assume you wouldn't be able to access it at all, and you'd get a notice to that effect when you tried to search????0 -
Is everyone talking about the Main Site Search as Martin asked or are the problems with the Forum Search?
Have a look at at This Guide to searching the forums which explains some of the quirks
If your still having problems, finding what you want, you could try searching using This. It uses Yahoo results so it won't have the latest posts. Firefox users can click to add a Search Plugin (which is why I built it - just really for myself)
