    That is important information and changes the game at that location as they will have landowner rights, which in the vast majority of instances is not the case and is a major barrier tor these companies. Forgive me for asking but is your knowledge gleaned first hand via Land Registry documents ?

    It would pay to check with the Land Registry to verify. Marketing signs are meaningless and with time ownership can change. Owning car parks does help a Private Parking Company make its case however these are assets which can be levied against should the company get judgment against them. It is noticeable that the larger companies that of have a portfolio of assets, and so liabilities, do not venture into court too easily.
