Pyrex....and going full circle!

  • I have picked up several pieces of pyrex from the local charity shop. I am also a fan. Luckily none has broken. I will be on my guard a bit now. thanks for all the disaster stories. Any sympathies. I have a casserole which Ilove. It is oval with a glass lid and the pattern of blue and grey squares round the edge. It is very useful for all sorts of dishes.

The thing I do regret is the utility plates my mum gave me years ago. I don't know if anyone remembers. They were a white background with pictures of coffe tables etc on them in black. I thought they were ugly (old fashioned) at the time 30 years ago. I let the kids use them and yes they did all eventually get broken. They are worth a fortune now.
