Please post back the outcome as other have had their orders cancelled, though it wasn't with the newer model. Would be interested thanks.

Will let you know how I get on - I am expecting to get it delivered, didn't realise others have had their order cancelled. Any particular reasons given for Freemans not delivering the goods?

Ordered tumble dryer 9 days ago code went through no problems with reduced price showing. Got email confirming order received with discount applied. Didn`t hear from delivery so rang cs, credit card problem rectified as card details did not match address the dryer was going to. However I could only reorder with 20% code as the code for 30% was only sent to a select few customers to encourage them to reorder after a long period of time and the code had appeared on internet and was being abused.

Seems like its over!

you will find that most cancellations are due to the cc company. Some have a automatic warning systems which prevent purchases which are large or unusual, whilst some also only allow acceptance if the address is the same as on the credit card. Best to check everything with your card company. Could always try paying with debit card.

If I use the previous code, if it doesnt work will I at a minimum get my 20%first order discount?

Can you not get the 30% code to work if you choose personal account? or is it best to Pay & Go?

Apparently the 30% code works, but if you ring them to order they wont accept it stating that the code is meant to be used for fashion items.

Unsure whether you'll get 20% off since it's not being advertised on the website anymore, not that I can see it anyway.

Worth a pop using the 30% code though.

Ok, just to add my experiences...

Cleared out the cookies and temporary internet files in Internet Explorer. Went into the Freemans site via the link on the first page of this thread. Entered the discount code. Added the (new model) TV to my shopping basket. Went to checkout for a credit card payment and entered the 30% code in the first box. Entered my details, the price was then shown on screen including the discount. Clicked confirm. The discounted price was definitely there before I had to commit to anything. Received an email almost immediately which included the discount price. The new TV is showing as delivery in 13 days.

So all good, touch wood. BUT this is after me attempting to buy the old model on Friday. Did exactly the same as above as far as I can remember, but when I went through no discount was applied. So I asked them to confirm that it would be applied and if not to cancel the order. I was told I couldn't cancel it till the following Monday as it takes 48 hours for their order system to update. So contacted them again on Monday to cancel, and received an e-mail on Tuesday stating that the order had been declined by the credit card company anyway.

So all a bit complicated, but will be worth it if the TV arrives at the right price :T And all this because I have been without TV for a month having a customer service nightmare with Dabs... :mad:

Can anyone tell me(who's had the tv delivered) if this model has intergarated freeview? According to the blurb on the Freemans web site it does but it does not show a model number. Looking to order one but want it to have freeview as well as be HD ready, so might need the more expensive model?
