Thanks everyone who replied to my post about opening an account.
I got a call today to tell me my cooker will be delivered within 10 days.
I asked about the code and was told to check my invoice and call them with the code if it was not applied.

Worth calling them to see what they say. People have experienced the following:

- code applied and webpage and/or email confirmation showed discounted price
- code applied only email showed discounted price
- code applied, no discount shown in any form, customer service applied code again
- code applied, no discount shown in any form, customer service said to wait for the invoice and call back if code did not work

So I recommend giving them a call.

I just did an order and can confirm the discount showed up before order confirmation (after inputting credit card details).

Hi all

Just got back from a weekend break and courier tried to deliver my 32" Samsung after we had left on Friday so am expecting second delivery on Monday although I have just spotted the new model for an extra £70 (if let you have the 30% discount) and wonder if it is worth trying to exchange for that one instead - any views?

Also, can anyone recommend a stand?

I dont think there's a great deal different besides a higher contrast ratio and faster response time. Also, the black just looks so much slicker! And it has a slightly better viewing angle.

I'll have to see one of these in a shop before saying if its worth the extra £70 (it probably is tho lol)

Not sure if the code will work for it though, has anyone tried? Didn't work for me as with the older model.

I have been reading this thread for the past few days and have almost ordered a few times but could not get the codes to work proiperly and didn't really want a fight with CS.


Anyway eventually tried with Firefox and it all went very smoothly including £630 showing up in confirmation page...whew!!
