Got 8 bags and a box today parcelled most of it to go back girls clothes 4-5 as not the quality it used to be in my opinion and not worth keeping, i don't shop in Primark but my sisters do and the quality is very much like theirs or market stall so will be loads of 4-5 stuff back online for you all hopefully next week, there are some good items though too

I agree about the quality one cardigan I ordered arrived with a big hole in it, and 2 other tops have threads/ pulls hanging off at the seams!!

I was talking to the assistant about the quality and she agreed with me (last week, before the sale). There was something I wanted but our small shop didn't stock it, and I said I didn't want to pay postage because it might be terrible quality.

Some things are good still, but I'd say more than 75% of the stock in my local Next is no better than market stall or supermarket. At half price it's similar to what you'd get in Tesco, so it's not always worth buying Next but my boys fell in love with the range of Mario, Sonic, Artoo etc. and I can't afford them at full price.

I bought 3 t-shirts from my boy's birthday presents, and they're all in the sale. He wants to wear the Artoo one tomorrow for his party though, and my sale order hasn't arrived. Will there be any difference between the full price and the half price T-shirt, does anyone know? I think they stopped putting red dots on the labels of sale items, is that correct? I was hoping to take the sale Artoo T back to the shop along with the full price receipt, will it work?

the items i bought in store today didn't have red dots on the labels or anything like that, they just looked like normal stock

i bought some full price bits 2 weeks ago that haven't even been worn yet and they went down in the sale, they were sold out by my vip slot and i wasn't able to get them in store, does anyone know if there's way of getting them sale price? i'm assuming the staff won't let me return at full price and then buy them back at sale price?!

I didn't get a VIP slot for this sale, and now I've been to the store (not at 5am - but lunchtime I might add!!) I'm glad I didn't have to waste my time the other night, with all the technical struggles!

What a load of old tat! Everything that was online was in my store, but I have to echo what a few other posters said, the quality is horrendous!

I'd say Primark and Peacocks IMO are alot better!!

I bought a couple of tops for DD only because she's off on a school trip and needed a few chuck-away items! The childrens tops are so thin and already look out of shape! I miss the next quality from 6 or so yrs ago, it's nothing like it now, yet the prices are the same / higher!!!

Which handbag as i ordered quiote afew for choice and wont be keeping them all if any received 3 today so can see if 1 is what you wanted

It was a white handbag but I've misplaced the piece of paper with the item number on it . Will need to look in the directory and get back to you. I am wading through my VIP order which arrived earlier. Most of the stuff was for my home but I did order a few bits for my son and he is well chuffed - don't have any issues with quality either. I do have a problem with sizing of the few items I did order for myself. What are Next playing at? I have a size 10 tunic top that would fit a baby elephant and a size 10 cami top that I can't even fit one boob in :rotfl::rotfl:
  • I've found the quality of some Next items to be really poor over the last 2 years. Have sent a top back which I ordered in the sale as the stiching was really poor- really messy and all over the place. I know I paid a sale price but I still expect quality! I also shop at Primark and Tescos where the prices are cheaper than Next but the clothes are much better quality.

YEY i am one happy bunny.

Went to next at about 11.30am and it was a bit busy but no more than usual.

I only went for baby clothes and i almost walked out as they werent in there usual sale place, and because of all the buggies i almost thought i couldnt be bothered to get passed them all. Then i thought ah sod it and went for a nosey at the boys stuff.

Out of the corner of my eye i spotted all the baby stuff and it was human free, the whole section didnt have a single person near it.

The rails were over flowing and i had plenty of time and space to pick and choose what i wanted.

I got loads and bought in 2 sizes 0-3 months and 3-6 months. And i only spent £85.

I only seem to buy sleepsuits, tights, and snowsuits from next everything else feels a bit ''thin'' but i did manage to get 4 really nice baby outfits that i have had my eye on but couldnt justify paying £20 each for.

I too tend to get everything else from primark, especially as the kids are growing so fast and i dont see the point in paying extra for stuff that will last when it doesnt really need to as they'll soon grow out of it.

But the babygrows wash up lovely and keep their shape.

I did notice that next had some toddler jeans in stock and when i went to mothercare they had exactly the same jeans in there, which i find odd.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
