Nokia 5800 Comes With Music Problems.

I won a Nokia 5800 on Pepsi - thanks so much ItchyPig! The phone is great!

I'm having problems with the Comes With Music..... I have downloaded all the software, but when I try to join Comes With Music on my laptop, it keeps telling me to use the USB to link the phone to the computer .... but I am! It is not recognising the phone.....

...so....
I went online - on my phone and tried to join Comes With Music that way.... I input my PIN etc, and then it said "your mobile does not support access to Comes With Music" ! ! !

I am using a Vodafone SIM and have Vista on my PC, if that makes any difference.

I was wondering if anyone else is having probs, as it's a lovely phone and I would love to use the music downloads part as well.

As far as I am aware the 'Comes with Music' is only available on the Orange network with a new contract of 24 mths. Even then I think is only accessible for the first year.

Thanks. Have given up with my SIM, but tried hubby's Orange contract one, and it still did the same thing, so not sure how to sort it out:money:

just had a quick squiz on the pepsi website & according to that you should receive 1 years access to 'Comes with Music', was there any paperwork or anything else with the phone giving you a pin/code for the website, it probably won't be the same as the pin for the phone? If not you need to get in touch with them.

Yes there is a pin code to get onto the website. On the computer - it won't even let me get that far, as you have to connect the phone first and it doesn't recognise the connection.
I have connected to the internet on my phone, and accessed the site, typed in the PIN number for the Comes with Music and then it says that the device isn't supported.

So it's a bit of a mystery. I have emailed Nokia support and Pepsi, and am waiting for a reply.

no, comes with music isn't only available on orange. you can get it on 3.
