Serena Just a quick post to say my 17yo stepson just renewed his child passport for his first adult one and did not have to have an interview.

Stuck at work for another couple of hours. I didn't have time to do the breakfast stuff this morning so going home to a messy kitchen. Funny how much it bothers me now

Flypeople -I have been meaning to say this - the stars are for fun as you know so its only yourselves that you are cheating if you say you have done something or a list when you havent - there's no shame in saying I havent finished or I cant do that.
Also it has come to my notice that certain 'bits' appeared as challenges -as items that have needed doing for ages and ages - yet were in rooms that were claimed as being FULLY done week after week?????????

Hey Toots - I am glad you are feeling a bit better and have managed to sweat out those shivers. Big squishy hugs for you lovely, Im really looking forward to seeing you again soon.

The reason I havent been getting many stars is because I havent been adapting Pigpens list to suit me, and what I need to do that week, but some of the other flyladies are much better at writing their own lists and getting on with it.

So people may have very well been 'earning' their stars without cheating, but not incorporating some of the tasks that Pigpen would. Perhaps people working of some of their own lists, need to remember to add in some of these bigger jobs which Pigpen does.

That way we can all get stars and do the horrible jobs that we forget about or put off!

Thats why Im still going to use Pigpens list but change only one or two things to suit my own house every week, that way still achieving what I need to, but also doing the things on the list that I wouldnt have added myself!

Does that make sense? Maybe the other flyladies working on their own lists can add something from pigepns list, that they wouldnt have added themselves?

    xx

    Pigpen - hows Hazel?

CRAZY!!! Lol.. she is healing really well.. still waiting for the stitches to dissolve but the vet said she would take them out if they were still in after a few more weeks but they aren't bothering her so I'm leaving them for now.

she is still able to catch meeces and birdies and anything else that move so her killer instinct and ability to stalk are still very much in tact.

I have enjoyed reading through all the posts today, hugs to all who need them, and gentle kicks to those who want one too!
After my MSE wander I am off to put shopping away, hang out more washing, prepare tea, bring washing in, and maybe fit a wee bit of decoupage in there too!

    Yes it is inspiring ;).
I cannot imagine studying with DS around, let alone 8 kids!
When I look back on my PhD days, I realise how lucky I was, having nothing else to worry about other than me!
    What are you studying ?
