Sunnygirl - sterilising jam jars - just wash them well and put them in the oven on a low light so they heat through - that's the pre-Milton way!

Thanks very much...have just ordered DH to put the oven on. Just need to dig my jam jars out from the deepest darkest depths of the corner cupboard....you know, the same cupboard I should have cleaned out yesterday.:rotfl:

Will let you know how the jam turns out. I've only made jam once and not for a few years but we went raspberry picking on Sunday and we got loads.

    Glad Stripes is ok Mudbath.

Are you thinking of Stobo Castle? My friend is just back from there and loved it, think it's expensive but hey what the heck if you enjoyed it!

Daft question from me, is Starclean the same as Stardrops? I found a bottle my sister gave me years ago and it's brilliant, has cleaned everything - only thing is the ammonia is getting to me, so gonna have to stop for a cuppa and an early nite!
swinstie - it might be Stobo - it was my cousin that told me about it as she had been and she's is coming on friday so i will check and let you know. Re the stardrops/ammonia thing - not surprised you felt woozy - ammonia is really strong - as Froddy says ordinary stardrops doesnt have ammonia - but there is now a full new range of Stardrops and they are all call stardrops - stardrops window cleaner, bathroom cleaner, ktchen cleaner, - not sure what the ammonia one is called but its still there - the one most of use use for 'The all round cleaner' is the colour of lucozade!
Penny the hat is not quite right - if it was a penguin then it would be perfect:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: love it!!!
Rosepink I dont fancy getting married abroad - too many of my friends wouldnt manage! Thanks for the explanantion of your steps - sounds like a good plan so how many steps from your front door to the loo? The cleaners will do the frames if you ask them but it will cost you more.
pigpen - in your new cooker tooo!!!!!!!!!! get a grip woman - you dont need another fire!!!! Why did your smoke alarm not go off????????????????????????:confused:or are you wantnig another visit from the hunky firemen - maybe if its not working then you should get them back. thank goodness you found out before you were having to do another insurance claim:eek::eek:

sexymouse that great news about the dishwasher its just a pity the havoc thats created getting things installed - well at least you wont have piles of washing up now - which will be great fro you when your working full time:j:j - thats good that you are all sorted for thursday now. oooooooooh and remember more sunscreen next time!!!!
neveah - a bit late but a happy Birthday to your DD hope she had a great day HS473949fjm3tcg78d_7404.gif
AnW's Mum - too bad for yesterday - but since your weekly challenge is 5 x 30 mins - you could still get a full house!!!!
.....I'm determined I'm going to go out 'kicking & screaming' my cancer is incurable but I have learnt to accept that now.....I've got a lovely DH, DD & DS & as long as I have your famous 'flypeople' love & support (which I have had in bucketloads so far) I'll be OK.........we must concentrate on toots now.... love & hugs to all xx
oh LadyL you are such a brave lady - you havent said a thing about this - well not on here - not like me that has told the world - you have kept your own silence and your dignity - much more dignified and takes courage. I know you have said its incurable but I hope they are still going to do treatment for you and keep it at bay longer. The chemo can be so effective. Please please post your wish list - it would give me a spur on if I saw you doing things? Loads and loads of love and support xxxxx
mrs MH - well done on the weight loss - excellent work:T
rosieben - sorry (you are def not a pita!)- I noticed you hadnt deletd the 'wash windows if needed' so thats why you didnt get a start - but I am assuming now that you didnt need to do them so you were finished - could you please delete stuff like that - or even better just domonday - done ( you dont need to put up the whole list) I believe you. I will sort it when i do the stars later:T:T

Flypeople -I have been meaning to say this - the stars are for fun as you know so its only yourselves that you are cheating if you say you have done something or a list when you havent - there's no shame in saying I havent finished or I cant do that.
Also it has come to my notice that certain 'bits' appeared as challenges -as items that have needed doing for ages and ages - yet were in rooms that were claimed as being FULLY done week after week?????????

cyclingyorkie hope your FIL improves soon

PenPen - I might take a fence or a gatepost after remarks like that - I dont check doorframes thats wot HRH would do if she arrived for a barracks inspection:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

soappie what a lovely dinner - what a fab present!
natty the biggest of big HSsunflowers_29072.giffor my love - the counselling will be difficult but I hope you can persevere as it will be worth it - have a lovely visit to your Mum's patch and i hope the little bud has opened for you.
triker - poor DD - hope the doc gives her something to sort it out
Aunty oh aye right ...as if i could be scarier than HRH - ..I dont have steel capped flying mules do I??? Incoming ........:rotfl::rotfl:rosepink - Rosepink why cant you order your prescription over the phone or online - you can have delivered to the chemists as well and then you only need to pick it uop from the chemist or you could even get it delivered to the flat - it would save you going out. I see now the others have had the same thoughts as me!

AnW's Mum awh angel thats not fair - HScathugs1.gif
swinstie - thank you so much that is fabulous!!!!:T:T:T
Natty listen to what hex has said - she is spot on - and at the end of the day your doctor has to say you are fit to work and I am quite sure he/she wouldnt given everything that you are going through - dont you dare EVER consider stopping taking your meds - promise me - its very important that you take them honey HShugs222.gif
fedup - hugs for you too honey - its not easy but you are doing just great and it will get easier - I hope you are telling your counsellor how it is affecting you. Glad you feel better this time- you are coping really well
