Am also trying an evil tactic with DS & DD. They are supposed to do their own ironing, but it has been piling up for at least three weeks now despite me [STRIKE]nagging[/STRIKE] requesting politely several times. They both just take stuff off the pile unironed & leave the rest lying about, falling on the floor. So I have hidden both piles. Eventually they will have no clothes to wear & I will win smiley-devil07.gif

Afternoon all, this feeling kn£ckered malarky must be spreading aroun the flyladies as I have it too!!! Heads a shed and can’t remember I thing I’ve read! LOL

I think the reason I feel like it’s bed time is because I flew out of bed this morning like a scalded cat thinking we had slept through the alarm – OH NO – it was only 5.25 AM!!:mad::mad:

So this morning before 8.30 I’ve:

    Peeled and pared boiled potatoes
Sliced said potatoes, burnt fingers in process, to make potato bake thingy with cheese sauce
    Made cheese sauce
Bunged all in a dish and covered with foil, ready to go in oven tonight
    Prepared vegetables for tonight
Got gammon joint wrapped in foil in oven tin, ready to go in oven when I sneak home on the way to view a property
    S/S kitchen
    Swept kitchen floor and hall
    Bleached everything as normal
Emptied the bottom of my wardrobe to fit in a bedside table that DD1 wants to keep but doesn’t want in her bedroom and I don’t want it in the small bedroom either
Dragged the blasted thing across the landing – god it was heavy
Managed to get it in the bottom of the wardrobe
Filled it up with shoe boxes, bags etc, then put rest of things back in the wardrobe all nice in readiness for me to mess up again!! :rotfl:
    Had about 5 coffees
Ironed 7 things – put on hangers and taken straight up to wardrobes
Had shower/washed hair and came to work

Small bedroom looks fab now with newly painted walls and new carpet and curtains put up. DH picking up a shelving unit thingy on way home from work so we can assemble that and then start of the airing cupboard of doom. Lots of boxes in there of books etc that I have never unpacked since we moved here nearly 3 years ago, as I had nowhere to put them. There’s also all my assignments from my HND – can’t seem to part with them (6 lever arch files!) as they all say DISTINCTION on them – sad aren’t I?!:rolleyes:

Great news it did not rain for long enough for the moat.

Living Room nearly done, will finish off after school time - I love dusting the tv whilst the kids are trying to watch it.

Rosepink well done on getting the prescription and other bits. Ooooh you lucky thing going to Snowdonia, it's gorgeous there and so peaceful too. You will love it.
Dusty I have to ask - Moat? I didn't know you had a moat, have you moved into a castle or something..lol
Swinstie that is a gorgeous poem, and one I shall be printing off to keep. Oooh I wonder if it can be converted into cross stitch..

I've been sitting here fretting over the what the DSS is going to do between now and 2013 - reassess everyone that is on Incapacity Benefits. I've read so many horror stories over on the benefits board about people not getting their benefits etc that I am terrified they are going to stop mine. I can't clame JSA if they stop them because DH is earning too much and we have more than the allocated allowance of savings. So basically I can't survive without my benefits and I would need to go to work which to tell you the truth I am totally unfit for. The DSS gave me an indefinate award last year after my new diagnosis of BiPolar with my clinical depression and CFS. Now I am not sure what is going to happen.. I've just rung poor DH in tears talking about gloom and doom and saying I was going to stop my tablets if they stop my benefits as basically I won't be able to afford my medication.. I've also been fretting over this swine flu as well - I don't want DH to get it as he is asthmatic and I don't want to get it as I have mild asthma and mild diabetes. And as they are thinking of calling an epidemic in London, and DH works in London in an air conditioned office.. I've only had flu twice and I don't want to get it again as it knocked me out, and with the CFS it took me a good 6 weeks to recover from it totally.. Oh gods this sounds rather gloom and doom doesn;t it, sorry..

I'm going to go and do some lunch and wait for my veg box delivery then go to the crematorium and blub over mums rose bush..

Bless DH he has told me I don't have to cook as we are having fish and chips in honour of mum tonight, as that was her favourite dinner apart from egg and chips..lol

Magnificent Monday ~Crabby kitchen! - DONE..!!!!!!

Feeling well, apprehensive about my bereavement counselling in the next hour or so. Probably wouldn't feel so bad if I didn't have my job interview in the next couple of days. Have work to do for this interview and I'm worried I won't focus on this due to how my head is afterwards.

Am planning on flying for about an hour and a half afterwards to try and focus on something else.

PLAN: 1xHHC - complete kitchen list
    2xHHC - complete Tues list
3xHHC - do some garden jobs
4xHHC - revise for job interview
5xHHC - revise again for job interview
6xHHC - try interview outfit on and file nails and paint toe nails

Plan for 2.5 - 3hours to occupy me following the counselling session, why do I think I won't do this when she leave at 3.30pm? Plenty of time to complete all this in. Heart already racing in advance of session and head feeling in pieces again.

Rosepink, how did you get on?

We were going to go to the park but it has just started to rain.

Hugs for Natty and Fedupandskint. Natty, it will be all right, there are a lot of people in the same boat, there was the same upset and worries the last time they overhauled the system. Natty - I know its easier said than done, but do try not to worry, especially about something that may not happen. If the re-assess you in the next 4 years, Im sure they will find that you are unfit to work and you will carry on as normal. You can go to your doctor who will be able to back you up and no doubt be made to see an independent doctor by them, but Im sure in the end it will be ok. It just so happens that a lot of people claiming to be too ill to work are milking it for all they can get, but are just to ill to declare it, so they dont pay tax on their earnings and receive benefits to top it up!!!

As for swine flu - keep your vitamin levels up and boost your immune systems as much as you can and dont stress xxx

Mmmmmm, youve put me in the mood for fish and chips now! Nomnomnomnomnomnom

    xx

Fedup - Deep breaths lovely and try not to panic. It will be fine. Babysteps and youwill get there.

What about taking yourself off for a relaxing bath or reading a book or both - instead of flapping around working yourself up into a tizzy? xx

Natty, everything is going to be ok. I get DLA and I only have two conditions, you will be fine. You have got a firm diagnosis of your conditions, and your doctors will back you up if they do review your benefits. "Review" is not the same as "take away" - I'm sure they will realise that you are entitled to everything you are getting.
Re swine flu - just saw a thing on the news about how most people who are getting it just have a mild fever and cold symptoms, most people won't even know they've had it according to the expert they had on. I know it's a worry as you both have asthma and with your CFS (I'm worried about my mum as she has asthma and CFS and it would really knock her back if she got it) but I'm sure it won't be as bad as you fear. You probably won't even get it anyway. Make sure you wash your hands regularly - Mum and Dad have started washing their hands as soon as they get home to lessen the chances of mum catching any germs. Big hugs to you xx

Fedup, hope the counseling goes well and that you cope with it, be kind to yourself and do what you feel you can do afterwards, whether that be have a nap, scrub the bathroom, or go for a walk or whatever.

Hex, well done with the HHC, I finished early as I've got my star for the day! Yippee!

Will try to do some of my 5 things later - really want to get on with the gardening but still waiting for DH to drill the holes first
