Nearly forgot - just made two banana loaves with some bananas that were too ripe. Yum yum if anyone wants a slice. I've sliced one up for the freezer but the other one will have to be eaten by people I know well (I managed to leave the plastic spatula in when I turned the food mixer on - sieved most of the plastic out but there might be a few chewy bits left in:o:rotfl:).
Does anyone have a good recipe for apple cake / loaf? xx0 -

Evening ladies!!:hello:
Very busy weekend, shopping and gardening, and even some flying here and there! I have to finish some planning for this week, which I've been putting off - must do it in a minute. Not sure just how many pupils will be in, but I may have some who have not gone on trips, so need a back up plan.
I'm really tired today. DD and her BF went to see Ne-Yo (hope I've spelt that right) at the o2 yesterday. The Jubilee line was closed, so afterwards they had a complicated journey with buses etc to get back to Victoria. They followed some others, and ended up getting off at the wrong place, and being totally lost. OH and I were on the phone and internet trying to sort them out! We managed to get them to Victoria, but they missed their last train, so got one to another town in Kent, and I went to pick them up - 50 minute drive each way, back here at 2.15am. I think it would be fair to say I'm a bit tired today...
Congratulations to mummyof5 and DD - I love the names too!
Huge congratulations, and every good wish for future happiness to Mr and Mrs Jelly!!
Still thinking about my list of five - it's the last week of term, so I'm likely to be very busy and really tired, but I'll try...
1. Renew passports for DS2 and DD. (Holiday now postponed until I get this done - how did I forget??)
2. Pot up plants in greenhouse.
3. Hem one curtain.
4. Take glass to recycling
5. ?It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
