ah but you need a scientist if you're doing it like that - with petri dishes and experience...

That'd be me then! And I don't scream at dead stuff either...or alive and running stuff unless it makes me jump. Had impromptu lesson on silverfish recently - kids found a 'weird bug' in a plastic box!

    !

Oh but I can do petri dishes and test tubes and bunsen burners and litmus paper and things. And I don't scream at dead things - even if they make me jump. I just don't do screaming full stop. It's not in my vocabulary. A good swear word or two is. However, if you have a clip board or two to hand as I pass through, I might like to borrow one :D
I'm heading off to bed in a mo so, in case I don't get on here in the morning
    soappie - 4.giffor tomorrow

    Have a great day!

Thank you Frodders, and Mudders and Boddy
I shall do my best to enjoy it. I'm going to catch up on kitchen stuff now so it's all done.

helen jelly - glad you had a wonderful wedding and hope you'll both be v. happy together
Jinky -again - have a lovely week

LL please say hi to FFP (if anyone came on here and tried to read all our codes they would have a hard job LOL!)

Boddy well done on the 10, 000 steps! I am aiming for that! One day not too far away I think I will get there

Polly, the things that don’t belong to you that need sorting out – can you move them or organize people to deal with them by a certain date/time? I have filled a rucksack with all of DH’s stuff that was lying around and that he never sorted out and I feel much calmer – he has lots of little bits and never ever thinks he needs to pick up after himself – I watched him get a tissue out of a packet, it was the last tissue so he just dropped the packet on the floor and left it there. No wonder the floors get like a rubbish dump. (sorry I meant to be offering constructive advice and this turned into a rant – the point was that since I’ve been picking up all his carp from the floor and putting them in the rucksack things have been much nicer round here)

Hugs Toots, at least you’ve told everyone now so that’s the emotional bit out the way. Have a good night's sleep - I love the bit when you just get into bed and are drifting off to sleep it's such a cosy feeling!

Helen n Kevin, did you purposely get together because you have rhyming names?

Thanks for reminding me Julie, I need to do a Mr T order tomorrow

Soappie and Valli I don’t scream either, never have. It annoys me when every single person in every murder mystery ever made on TV screams when they find the dead body. Surely there must be one sensible person that would walk up to the body and check if it’s really dead before calmly ringing 999?

I agree Rosep - although I wouldn't scream, I might be shaking a bit as I dialled the emergency number. I definitely think I would take charge because that's the sort of thing I do rightly or wrongly ....
