    Morning everyone

Thankyou once again everyone for all the birthday wishes

Mudders - hope Stripes's op goes well today
    Toots - love the poem!

Rosep - don't forget your prescription!

Greenbee - well done on NOT getting those jobs!

Piggers - I'm sorry, I had to laugh about the oven and the cake!

Had a lovely evening last night. The kids took me out to a restaurant in town - it's where DD's bloke works. He came with us and had obviously primed the waiter because I got a happy birthday from him as he greeted us and took us to our table. I ended up having filleted sardine on a waldorf salad type thing for starters, then venision medalions with cranberries and wonderful things then Eton Mess for pud. It was lovely.

Having been a completely lazy mare yesterday, I will be back to flying with a vengence today. I've lsited my five things below. I also want to play with my new toy. One of my presents was this

    Stovetop Smoker

So I'm going to dig some salmon fillet out the freezer and try it :)

    [STRIKE]1. Do feet[/STRIKE]
    2. Dead head roses
    3. Organise car MOT
    4. Cheque to accountant

    star please toots

New Weekly Challenge: Two and a half done (nearly 3 as think might get swimsuit from ebay for DS) ;).
    My weekly list:
    (wk start Mon 13th July)
    1. Check friends mail at least twice a week.
    2. [strike]Wash lounge curtains (incl spares) and re-hang if dry.[/strike]
    3. [strike]Wash DS bedroom and our bedroom curtains and re-hang.[/strike]
    4. Start making more cards so some on ‘stand-by’ and also DS birthday thank you cards.
    5. [strike]Find my swimming costume[/strike] and see about swimsuit for DS.

    MACAW
    :
    do physio/exercises (not too good last week!), M-not done , T-done :D, W, T, F, S, S

    My Dailies: All done

All done (think I might get up at 6.30 more often ;)). I really think that doing small S and S's helps when it comes to the more thorough daily cleans :D. With that in mind I did a quick S and S of the bathroom/downstairs loo and also our and DS's room this morning, so I can concentrate on the more yucky bits on the actual days (I hope this is is within flylady rules ). Later on today we are out with DS toddler group for a trip and then this afternoon I need to make some curry, bring washing in, and perhaps make a card or two.
I really don't like cleaning taking over, but I do like to feel like it's fitted in to part of our routine, and a clean house is a nice house to live in.
Hope all are doing ok and no doubt you will see me again at some point!

Morning everyone. It's reasonably bright and sunny here :) I've been up and about since 5.30 am when my DH got me up to let the dogs out. Why he can't do this I don't know, all he was doing was getting his breakfast..hmm men!! Anyway I have washed up the breakfast things, last nights rice pudding dish (which had been soaking overnight), wiped down the sink and wiped all over the worktops. I even tried to shine up the copper pipes coming out from the boiler, it sort of worked but I need to get some brasso for this. And the outside of the boiler got cleaned too. Plus I pulled off some wallpaper while I was on my step cleaning the boiler - it did need doing as the walls need decorating and DH has given me the go ahead to get the paint and finally finish off the kitchen. All it needs then is the lino and it will be all finished and looking lovely :)

Toots your list made me well up there, I am sure we can help you achieve everything.;)
Pigpen it's nice to know it's not only me that does daft things like leaving stuff in the oven, then turning it on.. But seriously glad it wasn't anything too serious, you don't want to burn the kitchen down again!
Soappie it sounds like you had a lovely meal, and got totally spoilt by your children.
Rose don't forget your prescription honey, I have to collect one too. So we can both go together, if you know what I mean.:D
Mummyof5 Dallas is an adorable wee bundle, and Bradie is definately a proud uncle.
Jo I'm sure you're list is getting longer, how on earth are you going to do all that. I do hope you are going to carry some of it over to next week :)

Have had my shower and got dressed. Had a wee cry upstairs and a chat to my teddy that mum bought me when I was little. It would have been her 62nd birthday today, unfortunately she isn't here to celebrate it. She passed away just under 3 years ago and it is still rather raw, although it doesn't help that this is one of the things we are tackling in therapy.

Have to go to Aldi and pick up some flowers later then on to the crematorium to place some on mums patch. I am hoping that the bud on her bush is almost out now, it was nearly there at the weekend when I popped her stone cat under the bush, then I can cut it and bring it home with me and pop it in a vase to have on the small table here.

Morning, gawd I feel gruesome again today.

Whoever stole my energy, can I have it back please?:o

Just rang docs for DD1 she has been badly bitten by something, maybe mosquito, her foot has swelled up and she has a red area around the bite that keeps spreading. She's been taking anti histamines but they don't appear to be helping.

Anyway, whilst I wait to take her, I'll get a bit of washing and stuff done.

(If i read all the thread I'd do no flying:o). I knew you were poorly but I had no idea that your prognosis was so bad. You are so helpful and supportive of everyone and I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say that this thread won't be the same without you.

Soappie - on your way to Toots and back you could do a royal tour of all the rest of us:D It definitely makes MoneySaving sense:rotfl:
