    Morning all,

    I haven't caught up with the thread so i hope all is well. I had a whacking migrane yesterday that nurofen + didn't even touch so spent all evening in darkness on the sofa attempting to watch tv but falling asleep all the time and yelling at the kids when they turned the lights on:rolleyes:.

    I need to sort the bedrooms they're shocking. I couldn't walk to Ds2's bed this morning to get him up as there is so much carp on the floor:eek:, he will be helping me . Ds1's room's not much better but he can do that himself. He's also going to have some of my massive list to do:p.;

          Morning all,

          *hangs head in shame as little flying done this week*

          I've had a particularly busy week this week - 3 full days of supply Monday-Wednesday, then meeting my new class on Thursday afternoon (most of them are lovely and quite bright, but there is one boy who will be a real handful who has a 1-1 with him at all times), and their parents 3-5.30pm, then an Inset day at school yesterday discussing the last Ofsted and doing full planning for the Autumn term for DT, Art, and ICT, and an overview for Literacy of what areas we'll cover and how. We will be doing the topic of the Tudors (a first for me), so hopefully will be doing a trip to here in September. I'm quite looking forward to it, as we will also be having a tudor day at the end of the unit, where everyone will dress up and we will cook some tudor food too. We all went out last night for a curry, and I got to know the other teacher in my year and her partner a lot better - they are both really nice - everyone in the school seems really nice, so I have a good feeling about this.

          Sorry that you didn't get the job fedup, and pleased that you still took something positive away from it all - I'm sure you'll get the next one you go for.
          Hugs to Valli - I have a good feeling about your job too.
          Hugs to LadyL and toots and feel better soon vibes.
          Get well soon to anyone feeling under the weather.

          Off to browse the Next website now after a 20 minute queue.

          Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
