Hello all
wish I was at the bar Elf - but i have been barred - so I am sitting here with my lucozade - not the same I can tell you!!
I have probably missed you both - but I hope that you have a great day tomorrow Jo and Toots.
Sorry that you are not feeling so good Lady L
Lil-Me - it does feel good when you get to planning for the new house - I hope that Mum and Dad an afford to run the old house and new flat/bungalow when they get offered one for a few weeks as I want to help decorate/carpets/ get the fire place/shed moved - I cannot organise and get this all done at this distance in the two weeks they said we wll have when they sign a new tenancy agreement.
MeNovember NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -
lil me - get a cordless phone with twin handsets. I had this problem in my old house, the twin sets only need one phone socket so I plugged that one in upstairs and the second handset was downstairs which only needed an electric socket
Will save you the money and the hassle of your DP doing it xx
:eek:Only one problem, it's in DS2s room and he's a nightmare for playing with cables! DPs going to sort something, it's the router having poor signal to downstairs I think he is most bothered about...men
Me if they are entitled to some housing benefit sometimes a 4 weeks run on can be granted where they will pay for 2 properties for up to 4 weeks. I would recommend to anyone taking the extra time, last move we thought we had loads having a month and it just was not enough! One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

It's not difficult to do... I've done it. You can get kits in the DIY shops. Lift a floorboard and put the original socket underneath so that DS2 can't get to it, and run the cable under the floorboards to where it needs to get to - you can then make a small hole in the ceiling to post the cable through and run it down the wall to wherever you need it. You may even be able to get a kit to run it outside.
Off to bed now... I'm still tired despite not having done much today!0 -
aww I feel better now...
I was half thinking I was paranoid but in my heart I knew that someone's behaviour was, to say the least, inappropriate.
SOME OF us have worked in the real world and some of us (well ONE) have done school, uni then back to school and clearly have fluff all idea of how to fluffing behave
don't get me started:rotfl:
*mwah*
I am off to bed now NOT feeling paranoid and NOT feeling like I am an idiot and that's down to you *mwah*

TOOTS
Princess Jane (QUOTING TOOTS) - we all have different jobs and they rquire different tools - so getting your nails done, etcetc is all part of you looking your best - I have just never been good at grooming myself because I have never really been happy with my body - and yes your holidays abroad are your reward for working hard - I messed up my life by getting into debt and haveent been able to do a lot of the things on my wish list because of money - and plus I had no-one to go on holiday with. For a lot of years I went out with a bully and my self esteem was nil and it has taken me a long time to realise that I am 'allowed' to do these things for me IYSWIM!!
That's the beauty of grooming! Highlight the good points and hide the bad!
If I let nature do its thing I'd be mole-like vision, pasty white skin, stumpy little nails and boring mousy hair.
You go girl..we all deserve it...I've worked my bluddy socks off to be where I am today and continue to do so to maintain a standard of living I enjoy - that's living, with spangly nails, not just existing.
Having said that, need to work my socks off in the house as late shift Weds, pole dancing Thurs and main job followed by second job tonight, has scuppered FL plans.
Day of shopping/cleaning tomm, followed by big girls' night out.
