Could Adobe 7 cause slow computer?

  • I've gone back to Acrobat Reader v. 4 because of the problems caused by 6 and 7. No probs since. It's on https://www.oldversion.com

    The company I used to work at wouldn't have any Acrobat Reader above V4 as V6 caused too many problems.

    Unfortunately a lot of companies now require V6 to read their documentation, so the best solution is to "right mouse button" and .PDF and select the "save target as" option.

    Usually I'll actually go to google to see if they have a text cache rather than tough a pdf ;D ;D
  • I found that Acorbat 6 was slow on my PC so i went back to ver5, but then i was getting errors with Windows XP SP2. Noticed there was ver7 now downloaded it and it runs ok so far anyway, seemed a bit quicker than ver6.
