Paypal only is a perfectly acceptable thing for you to have in your auctions some of mine are ste up like that as well. Buyer still has 7 days to pay though.
As it has been almost 6 days now and asusming you only ever sent the one invoice, a short polite email asking if you can assist the buyer further or if they need a second copy of the invoice might be in order.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. sorry i updated this earlier, and she contacted me to say that she had been bereved and couldnt get to her pc, and for me to give her my address and she will send me cash through the post! has anyone else had experiece of this and is it ok to do this, i didnt add cash or anything other than paypal on my auction, i am not sure. especially as it has been almost a week before she contacted me and she only has 1 feed back, where the transaction was cancelled. should i give her my address or tell her i only accept paypal?Compers challenge 2024 wins!!!!.... Cash in the post will be at her risk, so personally I'd say 'fine - but make sure you send it by a secure method.' Special Delivery is the only method which covers cash.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
thank you

The only thing I find strange is that she would take the risk with cash, any seller could always say they never received it, and it isn't covered by normal post as said above. At least a cheque is traceable if it's cashed.0 -
I didnt think cash was covered by royal mail if it gets lost?
It sounds like a stalling tactic to me, I wouldnt worry about offending the buyer too much with her "bereavement", I find that seems to be a common excuse to stall a NPB.
You can open a NPB on day 8, explain to the buyer that you will need to do this on this day unless you receive payment (you still have to wait 7 days after raising a NPB so if by chance she is telling the truth then you can still complete the transaction & clowse the dispute)0 -

SD covers cash up to £2500 if you pay the extra0
